I pick mushrooms, but I do know exactly what they are. Just learn a few types, and treat anything else as poisonous.
If you do manage to eat a death cap then eat a bar of soap immediately. And call an ambulance.

I look at my spore collections under 1250X mag... how do you know they contain heavy metals? Yes it's true that mushrooms absorb metals, but how do the spore prints say it all?
