Looks like I have to find another excuse to get a bigger bike before spring lol. "Standing on a hill in my mountain of dreams, Telling myself it's not as hard, hard, hard as it seems." I bought a motorcycle..one, to save some cash riding back and forth to work and two, because I wanted one and used excuse number one to justify it ;) Quoting: Louve Well, gas is down under $3 now and it's getting a bit chilly to ride. I believe it's $.15 a litre in just regional transit tax and carbon tax alone. Fuckers I was always an unusual girl. My mother told me I had a chameleon soul, no moral compass pointing due north, no fixed personality; just an inner indecisiveness that was as wide and as wavering as the ocean... And if I said I didn't plan for it to turn out this way I'd be lying... Because I was born to be the other woman. Who belonged to no one, who belonged to everyone. Who had nothing, who wanted everything, with a fire for every experience and an obsession for freedom that terrified me to the point that I couldn't even talk about it,and pushed me to a nomadic point of madness that both dazzled and dizzied me. |

Quoting: Stoned Goddess Filled up at 1.05/litre - which includes a 5 cent voucher from my grocery bill. That's about 3.98/gallon Compared with last time at something like 1.23 (4.66) I saved just over $10 on my fill-up. Hope it stays this way for a while. Went down another cent today. It was 76 cents a gallon the morning of 9-11. $0.44 when I moved in the region back in 1994 !! Unvaxxed because fuck you |

Shitty part is lack of Internet, I have to get on a boat for access. LoL We all breathe the same air. .-.. --- ...- . / .- .-.. .-.. |

(OP) User ID: 48235929 Canada 10/18/2014 01:11 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Always been expensive in Canada. I simply cut the vehicle, walk to work, bought a bike and occasionally use transit. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 63728055 Amazing the things you can do as a bachelor. A lot of these taxes, at the end of the day, are pretty aimed at families who don't have choices. Yeah it's smart to walk/cycle when you can. I was cycling for a bit but now it's just too dark. Will go again in the spring. :smokin1: |
