I used to spend 50-55 on the island to fill my car... then when I upgraded to a truck that shot up to 80+. Today I spent 70. And I didn't feel one shred of remorse which was great lol. actually it was 69 and change. :P Last Edited by Stoned Goddess on 10/17/2014 08:58 PM :smokin1: |

Thanks for gracing my thread with your presence, Brief! Awww, that's sweet...we could have been enjoying these lower prices five years ago had he not blocked the keystone pipeline and held up the drilling in the Bakken formation, thankfully he doesn't understand how business works, or much of anything else and the oil guys found a way around him. I never forgive and I never forget I am a licensed firearm holder. I will, under protection of law, use lethal force if attacked. |

Quoting: Stoned Goddess Filled up at 1.05/litre - which includes a 5 cent voucher from my grocery bill. That's about 3.98/gallon Compared with last time at something like 1.23 (4.66) I saved just over $10 on my fill-up. Hope it stays this way for a while. Went down another cent today. I am so old I can honestly say I use to buy gas for sixteen cents a gallon in Spokane WA . To me three bucks a gal is nothing but a rip off . Think it costs more to produce today then it did back then ? Hardly . Cheaper to get out of the ground , ship and process per gallon then back then . Speculators and governmental control , that's all of it. |

User ID: 26319950 Canada 10/17/2014 11:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Still $128.8 here, but a much welcomed drop I was always an unusual girl. My mother told me I had a chameleon soul, no moral compass pointing due north, no fixed personality; just an inner indecisiveness that was as wide and as wavering as the ocean... And if I said I didn't plan for it to turn out this way I'd be lying... Because I was born to be the other woman. Who belonged to no one, who belonged to everyone. Who had nothing, who wanted everything, with a fire for every experience and an obsession for freedom that terrified me to the point that I couldn't even talk about it,and pushed me to a nomadic point of madness that both dazzled and dizzied me. |

It was 76 cents a gallon the morning of 9-11. I have an actual photo..on film from right after 911 with a scummy gas corp charging over 5 dollars. They took that price down within hours out of outrage. ps..it was Caseys of the midwest. They never responded to my pictures in the months after that. I also took pictures there of a sky with only one plane - Air Force One...whatever that means anymore. Today that means nothing...today all that matters for corps are security forces and they have been rampant since then. I would rather take on the entire airforce of the US vs. Walmart buzzing me when I walk through their RFID exits. |
