Simply GREAT. LOL Yeah he was a very impressive artist! Last Edited by Inerrancia on 10/14/2014 07:46 PM |

(OP) User ID: 64049201 Spain 10/14/2014 11:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Had to go with Goya... Saturn Eating His Sons and the Two Old Men from his Black Paintings popped into my head before I had even scanned the entire list... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 57796732 Durer and Dore are two of my favorites... Cant do Bosch or Dali... Too weird for me... Nice line up... :) Thanx. Yes, Goya's nightmarish visións are so powerful, crude and unforgettable... Archetypes of our own horrors, we know all we have that hell inside... Dürer and Dore were fantastic, amazing drawers and engravers, both wonderful in richess of detail, exuberance of forms, fantasy and composition. Dürer was a master painter too, meanwhile Dore was consagred hugely with the printed arts as Dürer but his color, canvas Works are much less known... Dore with the pencils, like Delacroix with the colours, was absolutely epic. Bosch was somehow the last medieval genius, and Dali... well, Dali was a different planet, indeed.
