Bipolar Weather! What's the weather like where you're at right now?

Same here in the Boston area. Very unusual.

I know! Everyone's weirded out (like wtf) especially that it has been going from one extreme to another in a matter of hours as of late...

Same here western Canada. With the exception the wind is howling at 50 mph.

And was it really cold a few days ago by any chance? (It was around 6º C here last week)

Nice in the south Okanagan. 18c or 65f - been like this all month. Still no frost, which is normal. The leaves are starting to change pretty good on most trees now. All is normal out this way.


Looks like you guys in the far east will have a nice winter, same with the far west. The poor fuckers in the middle might get a lot of what they got last year... polar vortex and snow.

Wow they were not kidding when they said that the West Coast was the best coast... You guys are lucky you don't drown in snow like we normally do (damn Quebec and its winters) but I hope you're right about this winter being mild... last winter was anything but!

No but seriously, we also had some crazy bipolar wether last month, much more up and down than it used to be.

I think it's related to how messed up the jetstream is positioned lately...

Where abouts are you (I'm in Montreal) and it has been going from cloudy to sunny all day, almost hard to breathe outside... can't find the right word for it right now... Mucky maybe?

Nope not out here as of late. We did get heavy snow a month ago that broke ever tree in the area. ( Polar Vortex ) I will show you a link for my weather where i live for the next little while.

It just started raining here in NC. We are under a Tornado Watch until 10:00 pm. Supposed to be a potentially violent storm evening.

For sure. ya it's snowed in sept before.Just not that much But your point of saying that the weather as of late is either cold or hot is true. I have looked at the future pridictions from everyone as to what is in store for us this winter and all i can say at this point is magnetic north is moving south fast.

Notice how far south the southern edge of the aurora is and how it does not center at the north pole. That is driffting south faster and farther every year.


And that is the reason for polar vortex's as of late ( last 3 years ) the media only really picked up on this last year.

What does that mean for you and me. The convergance of high and low pressure systems will be more powerful and that is why we are all seeing drastic changes in temp fluctuations. Not to mention the fact if you thought it was cold last year.........Well i got bad news for you.. And the coming years WILL be worse.Magnetic north is drifting south. It will bring the artic weather with it. Now i know you think im crazy but!!!! This is why the north pole is melting fast...

Ya thus why I am certain earth is wobbling, which is one of the signs of an impending pole shift. You're right about the auroras not centering the north pole anymore...

Bipolar weather in south-eastern Australia. Clear 31c on Sunday, Cold 15c-16c Monday-Wednesday (although with the Antarctic winds it feels more like 6c). The high ranges are still getting snow and we're only seven weeks until Summer.

It's always Bipolar here though.. Averaging around 180 days a year of cloud cover (half the year).

This part of the world is always involved in studies on SAD, bipolar and depression by universities all over the world.

If only I could spend my life alternating between Australia and Canada, I'd be living in the spring/summer all the time and never have to deal with those cold harsh winters... soooooo depressing! I always wondered what it's like to have a Summer Christmas....

We call this spring like weather in Texas, high of 85, last week high around 95-98 - it is beautiful, looks like spring here in the fall and usually through a bit of the winter, but summers are hot! Which of course, hot is fun too, for a while

Ontario, GTA here. Wasn't expecting such warm, muggy weather today- since the past few days have been a bit nippy. Enjoy before the ice storms hit.

I don't mind the heat at all, I'd actually rather deal with the scorching summer heat over our crazy winters any day!

I was actually hoping we'd maybe dodge winter this year.... after the pole shift Canada will end up just above the equator
