You know that most people when their foundational beliefs get pushed on, will automatically dismiss contradictory information? It is inherent. The proverbial 'Mind Wall'. Belief takes practice. And finding out ones beliefs were not 'The Truth' can be devastating mentally as dissonance is a difficult place to find oneself. As what was 'once known' becomes foreign and with hazy concept. I think sinning against another can only be really reconciled by ask for forgiveness by the one wronged. To make amends or to pay restitution. The, I'll just confess on my 'deathbed' being a further show of the 'scape-goating' that occurs. Sin and be forgiven! Does that lessen or change the ripple that was created by the sinful action in the first place? No it does not. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] Now I'm confused. Not confused but.....yeah I'm not ashamed, I'm confused. This has always confused me. They know it's a lie, they have to. It's a pacifier for their emotions. That's no way to live your life.
