Now I'm confused. Not confused but.....yeah I'm not ashamed, I'm confused. This has always confused me. They know it's a lie, they have to. It's a pacifier for their emotions. That's no way to live your life.

Short of being completely self hypnotized it would always be in the back of your mind. I always feel like a kid again when I admit I don't understand this. Ppl treat me like you are just supposed to get it and go along with it. It bugs me.

I can never figure out if you're supposed to feel sorry for humanity or be mad it.

Or rather it's hard to come to a decisive conclusion while doing both.

I've got some orders to fill for the teh internet. Folky seasonal baskets made from old stockade fence boards and head boards made from pallets and whatever other crap is on my to do list.

Are you surprised not many wanted to discuss how religion is used to control them by claiming to set them free? Lol.

I would assume that we all have 'those' skeletons. The ones we feel shame for. Even if they happened in childhood.

Why do we flee from our own shame instead of rectifying?

What is shame and how does it play in with guilt?

Anger is a product of fear of losing 'believed' control.

Yes. I did notice. Pushing against peoples beliefs, can be dangerous if not done gently.

I 'turned' a tray of rings over page 2. I have Street Faire this week and the more stock I have, the better it will be.

Will the 'One World Religion' be 'No Religion' as more and more people identify as 'Unaffiliated?

Makes sense.

The fast growing religious minority is the unaffiliated.

So, in that sense, is the Islamic paradise when men are concerned, little more than unending vagina?

Paradise=Vagina?

Well I hope its part of the equation but we will all be found lacking if its the sum of the whole. Religion extinct, depends if the teacher of the teachings ever stops dying to leave it in the hands of men?

I want to make sure people are not tying in 'religious belief' to 'spiritual knowing'.

One is faith based. The other is 'knowing based'.

if you see the world for what it truly is, the world will make an excuse to tell you there is something wrong with you. All empires are built on persecution and there was never a utopia of constant peace. Some people make war a religion. Those are the same ones who tell us we have some sort of 'persecution complex.'

If you know that and you watch it anyway, what does that make you?

And not all of it is 'lies'. Very real and terrible things DO happen. Often by Man's hand.

And Man seems fascinated by it, when it does.

You said it only works because one other person knows how it really works. How would that work with someone doing it independently without anyone knowing?

Would it not work then or would they have to be the one themselves who knew how it really worked on some subconscious level?

Imagine an introvert thinking they were making a secret pact with some entity and planning on keeping it their secret from the world.

Could the necessary dogma still work?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 63835684

oh nah i was talking about ritual abuse. where theres always a victim. or like the rituals of killing someone together to form a bond.

in what you discripe it could work in the sense of changing the persons beheavior because of new found thoughts/emotions/selfesteem.

Im unsure of the dogma concept so i dont want to claim it as that. but thats just because ive only heard of the term and never really read into it.

You were specifically talking about secret societies and ritual as a control mechanism. Ok, gotcha.

Probably is for most men sadly ;)
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 62322378

I saw someone say once. That with the number of people in the world and the amount of sex we have, that the 'human orgasm' is constantly occurring. Most likely around the clock.

Huge amounts of 'sexual energy' constantly pumping out. No pun intended.

Say God could 'feel/see everything', would that place God in a constant orgasm state?

Why do some say, Oh God! when orgasming? Or at least think it...

hmm
