I'm in the same city ( well, let's just say on that little beach island) and my husband and I are both coming down with the flu :(. Quoting: Hellfire Honey I respect your putting info out and I appreciate it. Don't get yourself fired! Thank you and you are correct. BUT :( OH NO! I hope it's just the flu and you both start feeling better soon! Stay hydrated, as much as possible and keep down what food you're able. Make sure it's as nutritious as possible, too. Thanks dear! No nausea, just basic aches and sore throat and such. Take care of your self and thanks for the advice and info. Hunkering down now with a blanket lol. Bat Shit Crazy! |

Quoting: SolitaryWildFlower It's extremely short staffed everywhere, in every level of care. So, two nurses are working today who are vomiting and sick but were told to come in. Great. What would you say is the cause of the people quitting? And of the nurses vomiting? |

I just have no words for what is going on here. WHY would they tell people to come in if they're vomiting? With everything going on, ARE THEY STUPID?? These nurses are in a critical care area, as well. Post op's and other comprimised patients are in these units. Not to mention, the families of the patients! Plus, the other staff. I'm sicked by the thought. FUCK HIPPA,for the love of GOD,if you hear of/find anything of importance out PLEASE let GLP know. |

See this is what I mean. TPTB depends on first responders being in place to enact Martial Law like controls on society. Those responders will revert to the natural fear of death and illness and seek to preserve their own lives. In other words they'd soon enough quit. They system won't survive a transition of total control, if this is what is being attempted. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 43035839 United States 10/11/2014 02:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Recent quitting (within a month) with more going out the door everyday. South Georgia Big corporations are monopolizing the hospitals by buying them all up so they can set and control prices. They're doing everything they can on the sly to get domestic nurses and doctors to quit so they can replace them with cheap foreign health care workers. Obama care is going to make healthcare the most profitable industry in the world and so it is monopolized by the big boys. Expect less and worse care for more administered by people you can barely understand. |

You can't keep a hospital going without nursing staff and they are already at skeleton staffing in most places. Everyone working in hospitals, EVERYONE, should wear a mask, clean scrubs that are removed as soon as they get home if not right before they leave work, gloves, etc, all day long. Uncomfortable but it will eliminate some of the germ sharing. Do not mix your home clothes/shoes with your work clothes/shoes even if it means stripping down naked before you walk in the door; shower immediately upon returning home with Betadine; water down the Betadine and get some in your eyes and up your nose, it kills nearly everything before it can take up residence in your lacrimal ducts or throat. Shower at the hospital if there is facilities for that, and put the dirty clothes in a plastic bag before you bring them home, then immediately into the laundry. And there should be NO VISITORS allowed in hospitals of any kind, especially those dirty goober types who stand around in their filthy clothes looking confused and touching everything while gramma is dying from her stroke (you know who you are, you haven't one iota of medical education); only visitors allowed should be the parents of hospitalized children. Anyone in the medical field, wise up fast, save your money and figure out what you can do with your education that doesn't involve public contact, which may now be deadly. Avoid going out in public everybody; go shopping late at night or very early in the morning, avoid public conferences, plays, movies, etc. Homeschool if there's any way in hell you can do it. The schools are the worse vectors of any disease, apart from hospitals which are dirtier than garbage dumps and deadlier than land mines. Source of information: 30 years working in hospitals and seeing how bad things have gotten over time. Oh, and doctors haven't a clue; most know only what they were 'taught' (actually cribbed for on exams, if they didn't outright cheat to get through med school) and their knowledge of alternative medicines is generally something on the order of a kneejerk response that 'you're a conspiracy theorist'; they don't even read their own literature. Notice how many dentists are still shilling for fluoride even though Harvard came out with a study that it reduces IQ... |

There's a whole army of foreign doctors and nurses being trained as we speak in the Phillipines, India, and the Middle East to replace you all once they run you out. One by one they are replacing every industry with decent pay with less demanding cheaper labor. They already destroyed my trade and many others now they have yours in their sights. You laughed and thought us construction workers made too much money and deserved to be replaced by Mexicans and now it is your turn to be replaced. As for all the police and government workers lol, you are going to be replaced last so keep on laughing at the rest of us while you still can. |
