My sister's apartment was infested with bed bugs and they had to burn all their furniture. She had bites all over her and they did not look like that. I hope the doctor can figure it out. Rashes can be tricky to pinpoint. *Smile, it confuses people* |

Read the crap that youre posting, because it's complete fear mongering. It's not a virus, it's not scabies, it's not MRSA or herpes. It's bed bugs. If the OP comes tomorrow, guaranteed the response is bed bugs. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 63810455 Once again. Stop watching House, because a conspiracy theorist combined with a masters degree in armchair dermatology will have you running for the hills. So, "IMHO", its bed bugs. How do you know any of us don't have an MD? You don't so stop assuming we don't. |

After that get a jewellers loupe and check the consistency of the pustulate. If it's not dissimilar to chunky nasal mucus, then it's something to actually worry about. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 51173215 Are you fucking kidding me? What kind of advice is this? Get the kid to a doc. Popping it will a) possibly infect you with whatever it is if it's contagious b) hurt her c) possibly make it spread on her. |

It looks like it could be measles. If she is running any fever at all, take her the dr asap. and don't freak out. Now ive seen flea bites that kind of resemble this but never this many. do NOT pop them or try to drain the puss out of them. |

Esp if its not itching her so bad she cant stand it, and it does not look like bed bugs, my friends daughter had them from furniture she bought used and her twins had been bitten, so that's why I say they don't look like bed bug bites. |

Possibly spider bites or an allergic reaction to the detergent the friend's parent uses on blankets. I would get a doctor or two's opinion, and would see a naturopath. I'd think twice about giving her anything a mainsteam MD prescribes. They love to give steriods. Does she have fever? Any other symptoms? Also you did not mention her age, if she is old enough to be sexually active that includes other possibilities. Good luck and let us know. HTH |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 63773080 United States 10/10/2014 12:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Did you recently change her shampoo brand, soap brand, or laundry detergent? My daughter actually gets a similar rash on her chest whenever she drinks milk (she has a history of reaction problems with cow's milk - also has a history of reflux from it.) She has also had this type of rash when I use laundry detergent with perfume added to it. In other words, to me, it looks like an allergic reaction, as the cysts appear to be filled with clear fluid, rather than purulent fluid. Clear fluid-filled cysts are symptomatic of a rash, and purulent cysts are symptomatic of an infection. HTH. |
