This is on my daughters back. | |

Stayed the night at a friends and had these this morning? Bed bugs? Quoting: valleyofthemoon Most likely bed bugs. Clean everything she took and brought home. Look them over thoroughly, those suckers like to travel and multiply. Lots of people bring them home when on vacation, even from the nicest resorts. If you find them use diatomaceous earth. It's a powder without chemicals for use inside. Safest thing I know of, do your research. Hope this helps. FUCK! Thank you though for the information! YW. The key now is to make sure she didn't bring any home. |

Usually Retin A is prescribed, but not completely necessary. Very common in kids. Sharing clothing, sheets towels, etc. a big no no. Interesting. Does it go by any other common name? Or maybe southern based? Never heard nor seen it up here where I live. Oh and a reminder, if you use the apple cider vinegar with mother and a cotton ball.........don't double dip. Right, don't double dip. You get it as soaked as possible and leave it on there for hours and then Discard as you would any soiled bandage. Then Repeat Immediately. It will take Days... If your Dr. diagnoses this, ask them what it will look like as it heals. Your ACV treatments will get better results. As stated, it is a 'virus'- so any immune system boosting would be good as well. A probiotic, at least. *It has to be ACV with the Mother:-) Last Edited by CommonA on 10/10/2014 01:57 AM |

Have you started using different cleaner or detergents? Nothing stands out. No I don't think so. She came home from staying at a friends and I noticed bumps on her neck. Gave her a bath and it's all over her. It wasn't there the day before. valleyofthemoon |

My work requires me to deal with places that have bedbugs and they move really fast and you need to get the stickies and have the place professionally done or you will never get rid of them. My sister moved everything out of her home, ripped out the carpets and basedboards after her daughter being home 3 days and it still took many treatments. Just about had the bubble put on her place. |

(Shingle form along nerves, most cases appear on along the individual's rib cage. Shingles are very painful and you didn't mention physical pain as a symptom.) (if she had the chicken pox vaccine then that crosses if off the list too) If your daughter went swimming then I would say its fungus, but if she didn't, my bet is on scabies! ~Absolute Trust leads to absolute stupidity. Let Faith guide you, but always think critically. |

Have you started using different cleaner or detergents? Nothing stands out. No I don't think so. She came home from staying at a friends and I noticed bumps on her neck. Gave her a bath and it's all over her. It wasn't there the day before. Again, NOT LIKELY bedbugs. Don't freak out about that yet. Let the doc look at it. Like I said before MOST viruses can cause a rash, even a mild cold. Thats why the doc always asks when a child is sick if they have a rash. The location and appearance can help determine the particular virus. It is, IMHO, a virus that will need to run its course. Just keep her comfy (relieve the itching) and it'll clear up soon. Bed bugs cause a reaction when they bite - so unless she still has them on her, and it's still spreading, not likely to be that. You are a good mom for trying to find out the problem, but as others have said, only your doc can diagnose. |

Diatomaceous earth works great for bedding crevices and carpets. Those suckers won't live if they come into contact with it. As far as sticky tape, I've heard of some people using duct tape folded backwards and placed around bed posts near floor. They say this works pretty good. I wouldn't advise flooding your house with pesticides for sure. |

The Diatomaceous earth and sticky tape works for before or after (for piece of mind if nothing else). Bed bugs are really a pandemic issue. I am afraid to sit anywheres now, they have been found in libraries, movie theatres and other public places. When I travel, I go into the room without turning on the lights and pull the bedcovers back quickly, shining a flashlight. then I put the sticky tapes under the bed knobs. Call me paranoid, but those suckers move really fast. lol I deal with people who have them everyday. |

Read the crap that youre posting, because it's complete fear mongering. It's not a virus, it's not scabies, it's not MRSA or herpes. It's bed bugs. If the OP comes tomorrow, guaranteed the response is bed bugs. Once again. Stop watching House, because a conspiracy theorist combined with a masters degree in armchair dermatology will have you running for the hills. So, "IMHO", its bed bugs. |
