Anonymous Coward User ID: 49531429 United States 10/11/2014 03:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes, Costco has a great return policy. MOST people do not take advantage, that I have witnessed. We have been Costco members for 10+ years. We had a TV that completely stopped working after about a year, and we returned it and got a refund. We didn't even have a receipt, they just looked it up through our membership. Then we bought another TV right there at Costco, because we knew if we had any issues, we could count on them to make it right. I would personally not return something that had worn out normally over time. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12630340 They don't do this anymore as word of their liberal return policy spread like wildfire over the internet and as you can imagine - more and more people were trying to take advantage of it... They now have a 90 day limit for the return policy on the electronics that they sell.... |

Quoting: Stoned Goddess I had a friend who returned a TV after two years. But this one takes the cake. It's an uncle story I admit. But my uncle snapped a picture of the guy and said that Costco actually accepted the BBQ back. Was he a fat guy? Is this is in the UK? West Yorkshire area? If so. This was my Dad! |

Not my Dad. He did do this just recently though. Traded it in for a propane one. lol. He is a strange one, loves money above all else and goes to extreme measures to keep it. |

Is that how he still had it after 10 years? How much was left? Inquiring minds want to know... wouldn't it be a fiery thing that cooks meat? Correct. A BBQ. Not BBQ sauce. Although they would probably take the sauce back too, even if it was half eaten. I could post the picture of the BBQ being returned but it seems rather pointless... y'all get the idea, right? Then again why not. In parts of the US they don't call it a BBQ. They call it a grill. Call it a BBQ and they will look at you funny. |
Term Limits
User ID: 51319803 United States 10/13/2014 09:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You can eat AT a BBQ. Quoting: Stoned Goddess You can eat BBQ food. But eating a giant piece of metal used to cook meat... seems kinda silly to me. BBQ certainly differs by state, my preference is Texas and the lean towards brisket. There's places like Blacks, Opies, Kreuz, and Coopers... Though there's one that's hard to top. Franklins BBQ. Its BBQ and you eat it. If you haven't tried franklins or something equivalent then you probably don't know what Texas BBQ really is. It's a heave lean towards beef (brisket both moist and lean, beef ribs, pork/beef sausage mix, pork ribs, coleslaw, beans, pickles, onions, BBQ sauce, and lots of white bread). I've had BBQ all over the country and this is by far my favorite. Well cooked brisket tips and the coarser beef/pork mix sausage is the deal. Term Limits for EVERY elected and appointed office. An end to career politicians for real change. |
