If people would open their eyes more for the beauty that life has in store in the present, instead of hanging their heads to fear and danger and rushing to the future, we would be in so much better shape.

Live, breathe, taste and touch every day and look at the beauty around you, in people, in nature, in yourself.

Moments of friendship

Only a few more months till December
And another year has passed us by
A year of which we will remember
Moments that made us laugh and cry

Unexpected changes, right and wrong
Newborn friendships, sad goodbyes
Touch decissions, a happy song
Jumps for joy and heartfelt sighs

Life is but a bunch of moments
Glued together in a period of time
Some you would want to last forever
For others you wouldn´t give a dime

Always remember the hearts you touched
Smile at the moments they touched you
Take them with you on your travels
´Cause they will always carry you through

Sometimes life forces us another way
And leads us away from the ones we love
But true friends are like guarding angels
Little shining stars from heaven above

I cherish my life for the opportunity
Of meeting beautiful people like you

Here is a picture from one of my "Live in the moment" moments from today. I was outside watering the garden when I saw this. I thought to myself, "Oh lizard, that's a pepper not a mate, but hey, go for it anyway!"

You make it sound so easy.

This a problem I have of sorts, books, mind readers, the ability or lack to create. To compartmentalize a universe within, to not let your thought betray you, to not be able to get it out, stuck inside somewhere, brief glimpses, shoved further back from prying minds.

To live now, this thing we do as we awake again gaspimg for breath again wondering why again, looking for light in a one way tunnel.

She probably loves the smell of that thing. We should all learn to relax like this.

At this moment, I'm at the airport stuck smack-dab in the middle of a crowd of recently disembarked West Africans. Three of them look like they're about to hurl and five of them have really red eyes.

Yes you should live in the moment! I would head to the airport bar and have a drink..or 10. And if you think you just got off a plane with a bunch of infected West Africans, on your way home from the airport find the best restaurant you can and have a great dinner. It could be your last. Look on the bright side, your plane didn't crash. Live in the moment!
