The super typhoon is not only powerful but large, with gale-force winds covering around 340,000 square miles — about 70,000 square miles larger than the state of Texas. The Joint Typhoon Warning Center forecasts Vongfong to continue north toward Japan over the next two to three days. The dangerous typhoon is expected to weaken as it tracks north, though it will still be packing winds around 115 mph — the equivalent of a category 3 hurricane — as it impacts Japan’s Okinawa Prefecture, home of Kadena Air Base. I see the sadness behind the smile. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 61281356 That place is built to withstand those types of storms. Everything is cement and has bars on the windows. I'll send some good vibes that direction~ Thanks! And I'm sure the people of Japan would appreciate it too! I'll be praying for them also! I see the sadness behind the smile. |

I've seen turtles, a dog rolled over on his back, elephants, and loads of faces in the clouds too. two eyes a nose and mouth, loads of times. all this past few days I know our brains are pre disposed to make out facial features in inanimate things, but I've never before seen so many lifelike features in clouds, in such a short period of time. it's bizarre |
