Oh yes, dry and chilly air has a lot of static, doesn't it..I've spent most of my time in Florida. Thank you, I hope so too!

I wonder too about the numbers on the poll. I thought there would be more No's and fairly recents. I think some of the the No's aren't voting or maybe even opening the thread:-) -and like you say, skepticism and/or simple ignorance(never heard of) of the subject makes it non-existent, until it is:-)

Yes, for as long as I can remember. 79.2% (61)
No. 15.6% (12)
Yes, it's a fairly new phenomena. 5.2% (4)
Blank (View Results) (12)

Non-Blank Votes: 77

Have you ever heard the term 'Animal Totems'? Here is some more info on that,

Oh, nice, I've visited parts of Florida - some beautiful country out there! hf It's getting cold up here (Ontario), hopefully some sparks fly soon. ;)

Interesting poll results! I was one of the "fairly new phenomena" voters, but after more consideration, the top option may have been more appropriate.

And thank you. He was and is loved by many. rose

Very interesting read on that site, thank you!

"Crows often appear in groups, and though there seems to be no variation in their caw-ing to each other, each caw actually has a different meaning. Their complex vocabulary is one sign of their intelligence, and is also a sign of their significance as power animals. When a crow explores something new, others watch closely to see what happens and then learn from it.

... Without paying careful attention, we are unable to understand the language of crows, this signifies the fact that we can't always see beyond our own cultural limitations."

Corvids (crow family) are very intelligent, and there is a lot of great research out there about their cognitive abilities.
