I remember at one job I worked with a judge. One day I had to hand him something and when i tried to there was a blue ark of electricity generated from my finger to his, was like a plasma lamp, huge shock....

After that he started recommending books to me, fiction, but interesting nonetheless, like we had this automatic understanding of weird commonality. A special handshake of sorts, literally.

WOW!
I've experienced a blue arc before, but never between people!!

Once, starting up my car, I saw a blue arc from under the hood and it immediately drained the battery and all of the windows rolled half-way down and stopped working. Once I got it jumped, most of the lights were out (I think was just a fuse, 10+ yrs ago) but the window motors never came back. The only one that worked was the roof!

The latest was in my new place, a few months ago, a particularly emotional moment on glp and a vigorous click to the 'shutdown' and there was a blue arc, outside up, near the pole out back and we lost power for an hour or so. I think other than the neighbors behind me, only one on my street - directly next door lost power. Probably a logical conclusion for some of that.

Great thread OP! hf

I inadvertently shut off a tv with a blue arc once as a kid. Interesting to read that others have had similar experiences.

And I've experienced strong shocks when touching people too, an electrical exchange. Very cool experience Spazz. rose

I also experience the streetlight thing very often. Still not entirely sure what to make of it, but do very much believe that we are electrical beings living in a continuous energy soup.

One time this spring I was folding clothes fresh out of the dryer in the dark. The clothes (lots of fleece) were really charged (and the air was dry) and I ended up creating rainbow, technicolour light shows by moving the fabrics around and watching them discharge. It was really beautiful and reminded me that there is a lot more going on than meets the eye.

Thank you hf

Another blue arc'r :-)

I have had shocks between people but never blue arcs.

cool2

That's very cool, technicolor laundry! I wonder if it could be recreated on camera?

I really enjoy reading other's experiences, thank you everyone. The woman that told me about SLIders is a humanities professor at St. Petersburg College - and she also has a ghost-hunting group(fwiw). Before that, other than hearing about my grandmother's strange clock/radio experiences, I had no idea that there were others..

damned
