Comes from our dualistic nature of narcissism/cruelty vs, empathy.. we laugh at dark jokes, probably because the unfortunate circumstance didn't/don't involve ourselves.

I think I watched that Skrillx video some time ago ... left me wanting to claw my own eyeballs out of their sockets. Yes it is. People bend slowly but collectively. Tipping point.
