I think Photoshop and CGI trickery, have conditioned us to 'not believe our own eyes'.

And for GOOD reason.

I also think, that isftime travel has been created in the 'future', that what they found is that PAST can not be changed.

Once stamped, it's there. It may only be subject to very slight altering. If pushed in the right place, at the right time, with the right people.

That is my thoughts on time travel. Hope it makes sense.

I watched an interesting episode of Through the Wormhole regarding 'Time' the other day.

It has been rather forefront on my mind since.

True.

One fascinating wrinkle to the experiment was that this difference in rating only occurred when the timer counted up, but not when the timer counted down.

Nelson accounts for this finding by pointing out that if the timer counts down to reach zero as the song ends, our brain expects this result, no matter how much time has actually elapsed. And when expectations are met, no subconscious explanation is necessary, because in his words, “Our minds are incredibly lazy. If they don’t have to think hard, they won’t.”

But when the manipulated timer counts up, the song seems to end unexpectedly early (or late), resulting in a sense of surprise at the unexpected duration. Our brains then subconsciously grasp for an explanation to account for the disparity between expectation and result. The study suggests that the explanation that made itself available to the subconscious minds of the test subjects is that “time flies when you’re having fun,” leading people to rank their experiences in accordance to the time distortion they felt.

It certainly doesn't make much sense. I wonder if you could make a correlation between amount of imagination and amount of time bored and how it would read?

I think all the Ebola threads have dulled GLP's shiny.

'Fear' after all, leads blood from the brain to the muscles. That is why people often act irrationally when spooked, in fear, or highly stressed for long periods.

Critical thinking goes out the window, unless one knows how to hold their 'cool'...

'Don't panic' is an excellent piece of advice.
 Quoting: Seer777

GLP is a breaking news source. Actual panic would occur before you ever have a chance to post here.

I am here for reality. News here breaks hours or at least many minutes before sheep know. 70% is crap but that is why you have a brain to do that critical thinking. I actually bought a subscription here to pay for my information...vs...paying a much higher price for bad information. So far, it might be the best purchase I have ever made.
 Quoting: LongrodVonHugendong

I became a 'paid member' my first day here.

'Breaking News' was not the reason though. Although GLP is among the quickest in that regard.

Someone is always on top of it. If you will...

I recall and imagine everything in pictures or movie clips/gifs if you will. I can't really imagine letters when I think though. Even to spell something for someone I have to write it down or look at a keyboard. I use to think this was weird.

I then read a study somewhere I don't have the link to on my tablet that identified the different ways ppl imagine and recall info.

Some ppl actually think.in words like when you type out a response and others are like me and strictly visual while still others had a mixture of the two or a slightly different way of doing it.

I wish I could find the study right now. Oh well.

I think I'm off for awhile, alcohols making me sleepy. Later.

The study I saw suggested storing ones OWN blood. From youth. And not just 'umbilical cord' blood, like they have now. Which is also applicable.

But just blood from our youth.

Can Compounds in Young Blood Fix Aging?
[link to www.technologyreview.com]
 Quoting: Seer777

I noticed that. This part is intersting

The team then screened the blood of young and old mice to look for differences and found that older mice had less of a protein growth factor called GDF11, which is also found in human blood.

Wagers and team then found that an injection of the protein into old mice had similar beneficial effects on the heart.

You know, tonight, there was a guy who had a strange name. He called himself G1, lol, because his name was hard to pronounce. And look here

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

The G1 phase, or Growth 1/Gap 1 phase, is the first of four phases of the cell cycle that takes place in eukaryotic cell division. In this part of interphase, the cell grows in size and synthesizes mRNA and proteins in preparation for subsequent steps leading to mitosis. G1 phase ends when the cell moves into the S phase of interphase .

G1 phase together with the S phase and G2 phase comprise the long growth period of the cell cycle called interphase that takes place before cell division in mitosis (M phase).[1]

During G1 phase, the cell grows in size and synthesizes mRNA and proteins that are required for DNA synthesis. Once the required proteins and growth are complete, the cell enters the next phase of the cell cycle, S phase. The duration of each phase, including the G1 phase, is different in many different types of cells. In human somatic cells, the cell cycle lasts about 18 hours, and the G1 phase takes up about 1/3 of that time.[2] However, in Xenopus embryos, sea urchin embryos, and Drosophila embryos, the G1 phase is barely existent and is defined as the gap, if one exists, between the end of mitosis and the S phase.[2]

 Quoting: Fancypantz

What we do know, is that Telomeres are like a 'wick' of a candle.

Every time your cells divides, you lose a a bit more 'wick'.

Once the wick burns out, the cell self destructs. Which causes Aging.

Among other things. Or so the story goes.

What cause rapid cell division to make up our daily bodily stressors?

Why have they found that a restricted calorie diet slows aging?

Why did those who survived the Great Depression generation, LIVE so long?

When it hits you, it's like a cold bucket of water down your back.

Especially, if seemingly 'impossible' in the moment. Where no quick search of rational explanation will hold.

In that, I think there are degrees of said. Like sync. You get so use to it, it's like, Yeah, I see you.

But when it really hits you, there is no, not paying attention.

Some years back I began attribution Deja vu to precognition. Due it happened so often, with such mundane and boring event, I remembered dreaming about it.

After that conclusion was formed, it stopped. In that manner. Which was welcomed at the time.

Saw him play at the Gorge at George Washington in 1995. Best 'moments' of my life, up to that point. I knew because I felt if I could relive just that moment for 'all time' I would be perfectly content.

Wow! Small world. Yes it was. :D

He sounded amazing. It was the harmonica in that song that stirred me like it did. It sounded so beautiful over the gorge. I found perfect, peaceful contentment in that moment.

I think that if people become capable of traveling back in time it would be for the purpose of 'fixing something' considered undesirable on a further time line. Or if a super villain or benevolent force for that matter, got a hold of said tech, to go back and slant time in their favor.

The 'Uncreated'.

Which pops into 'existence' as soon as it is perceived.

If you will.

Think about it this way. 'Time' is created every millisecond you move through it.

hi Seer dear,

one of the great things about YHVH is that even before creation was done, YHVH knew the beginning from the end(amongst many other interesting and wonderful things).
And all is held together, macro and micro by YHVH/YAHshua as the Word(see John ch1).

So much more.

How are you?

Hello. I am well. Hope you are too. :)

By saying that 'YHVH knew the beginning from the end' does that also mean it knew everything in between as well?

And if yes, what good is it creating something you know how the whole story goes? Wouldn't that be kinda boring? As also unabashedly brutal? Looking back...

How would freewill of the characters cause different movement in the Master Painter's canvas?

The canvas moves on Its own. To stay one or more steps ahead, may be all one can do.

Thoughts?

It has much to do with what the desire of the "master painter" is, and as YHVH makes that quite clear(read rev, gen 1, song of songs, marriage supper of the lamb etc), and that put simply is Marriage to an equal, the fact that the equal is going to be a corporate being, which still allows for the individual units to remain sentient and individuals is also amazing and wonderful. An example/type of this, and a revelation by YHVH about what will happen, is when Eve is created(Eve is also in the image of YHVH, but she is taken out of Adams side as one of his ribs and then made complete.

So great and wonderful, but mankinds failings also so sad and terrible(there is your understanding free will ) YHVH understanding of free will is simple, you choose YHVH and YHVH ways, that is true free will.
