Re: All prophecies the bible says will happen in End Times are happening or almost completed at present
You tards can waste your time with all the mumbo-jumbo & calculations you want trying to figure out when the end will come, but the truth of the matter is:

Mark,13:32

But of that day or hour no man knoweth, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

End of story... NO MAN KNOWETH...,ONLY THE FATHER
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17484861

Majority of us know this.

However, Jesus repeatedly tells us to watch for his return and to keep the spiritual oil burning (parable 10 virgins)

Re: All prophecies the bible says will happen in End Times are happening or almost completed at present
In the old 'All prophecies' thread I only posted verses dealing with end times, however, I approached Zephaniah differently because the book is short and the prophecies of end times are woven in with judgements against Israel and the nations prior to end times.

Here's a review of those posts:

Thread: All prophecies the bible says will happen in End Times are happening or close to being completed at present (Page 29) (and earlier pages)

I left off at Zephaniah with an outline chapter 3 , and verse 3:10:

Chapter 3
vv. 1-5
— Judgment on Jerusalem. Judgment is in ratio to her
privilege.
vv. 6-8
— Judgment on all nations — this is Armageddon, which
ends with the return of Christ to the earth.
III. Judgments removed; kingdom established,
Chapter 3:9-20
v. 9
— This does not mean there will be one language for the
entire world, although there may be only one language — perhaps the language on the other side of the Tower of Babel. The thought here is “pure” in the sense of the removal of the filthy, profane, and nasty
language. The “four letter words” will disappear.
vv. 10-12
— These are kingdom conditions.
vv. 13-16
— The remnant of Israel enters the kingdom. Their
attitude and speech are changed. Fear is removed. The Lord Jesus Christ reigns over them personally. This refers to the second coming of Christ.
v. 17
— This verse is the key of the book. This is the white light
in a black background. The purpose of judgment is not vindictive, but to cleanse and purify in order that blessing and goodness might ensue from the ordeal. (See author’s booklet, “The Dark Side of Love.”)
vv. 18-20
— This describes kingdom conditions.

Zephaniah 3:10 "From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, [even] the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering."

Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God"; that is, in prayer: and these are the sons and daughters of the Almighty, who are scattered abroad in the several parts of the world, and among the rest here; but as they are gathered together by Christ in redemption, so they are found out and reached by efficacious grace in calling, whether Jews or Gentiles.

Some think the Jews are here meant, even the elect of God among them, who were dispersed in several nations, and particularly in Egypt and Ethiopia; who were met with by the Gospel, and converted in the first times of it; to these Peter and James direct their epistles: and of whom, being called by grace, it is said, they: shall bring mine offering........

Revelation 15:4 "Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for [thou] only [art] holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest."
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 63614350

Zephianiah Verses 11-13: The Lord will purge the proud and ungodly from among them. (Zech. 13:1-6), leaving a meek and humble people. Material prosperity and peace will accompany them as well, allowing them to enjoy the rich blessings of God undisturbed (Joel 3:18-20; Mica 4:4).

Zephaniah 3:11 "In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain."

"In that day shall thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me": Because these shall not be continued in, but repented of, and forsaken; and, besides, shall be forgiven, blotted out, covered, and remembered no more.

"For then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride": The Scribes and Pharisees, and those that adhered to them of the Jewish nation, who rejoiced in those things which that people generally prided themselves in and boasted of. Their descent from Abraham, and their observance of the rites and ceremonies of the law.

And the traditions of their elders, and their external legal righteousness. And they rejoiced in their boastings of these things, which rejoicing was evil.

And they, in the pride of their hearts, despised Christ and his righteousness, his Gospel, ordinances, and people, which were the things in which they transgressed against the Lord, and for which they were taken away by the sword, famine, and pestilence, at the destruction of Jerusalem.

"And thou shall no more be haughty because of mine holy mountain": The temple; or, "in" it; since it should now be destroyed: the Jews gloried in the temple, and behaved proudly and haughtily on the account of it; reckoned themselves secure, because of that; and trusted and gloried in the sacrifices there offered up, and the services there performed (see Jer. 7:4).

All Israel shall be turned to the Lord, and they will no longer be a haughty people, believing they are the only children of God. They had thought themselves better than the rest of the world, because they alone, had the law of God. This was all removed in the coming of their Messiah who brought salvation to all the world.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 63614350

Zephaniah 3:12 "I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the LORD."

"I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people": Of a character just the reverse of the proud and haughty that should be removed from Jerusalem and Judea by death or captivity. These are they that should be preserved from the general calamity, as the Christians were, and were left in the church of God.

The followers of Jesus Christ are the humble people of the world. They have to give up all their conceit and arrogance to come to Christ. The power to live the Christian life lies in the ability to trust in the name of Jesus.

Matthew 5:3 "Blessed [are] the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Luke 6:20 “And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed [be ye] poor: for yours is the kingdom of God."

Philippians 2:10-11 "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;" "And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 63743773

Zephaniah 3:13 "The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make [them] afraid."

"The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity": This is the remnant, according to the election of grace, the few the Lord reserved for himself, left in the land, and in his church, for his own glory; who, being truly convinced of sin, and brought to believe in Christ, should leave and forsake their former course of sinning.

Not that they should be without sin, or none be committed by them; but should not live in it, and be workers of it. Make a trade of sinning, and continue therein; or should not commit the sin against the Holy Ghost, as great numbers of the Jews did, in rejecting Jesus as the Messiah, against clear evidence, and the light of their own consciences.

The remnant of Israel, throughout the Bible, is the group who has never bowed their knee to Baal. This just means they have never worshipped false gods. They have always remained faithful to God. These are those people who are holy, because He is holy. They are not interested in sin. They are interested in pleasing God.

They have all the good habits of Christ, because Christ lives in them. These are speaking of those who have made Christ their Lord.

Zephaniah

Verses 15-17: The basis for rejoicing in verse 14 is that Israel’s day of judgment is past and her King is residing in her midst. His departure just prior to Nebuchadnezzar’s destruction of the temple is graphically depicted in Ezek. 8 – 11; but He will return as Lord and Messiah, a fact so glorious that it is repeated in verse 17.

Get a grip. The elites have been making all the events from revelations all happen and then people go Oh look the 7 horseman and 666 and all that stuff. It is a control mechanism for past 2000+yrs to keep people enslaved into giving their responsibilities to Jesus so he can pay the bills instead of themselves.

And I am sure that in the 6 day war - Israel agreed to be attacked by all her neighbors, AND all her neighbors agreed to give up their land when they lost to Israel.

Hmmm - don't think so.

God protected them

Also, watch for the gog magog war.

God promises us miracles that no man can do, just so he settles it once and for all - he's in control and not little man.

You give "them" way too much credit.

That's a pretty comprehensive list of prophecies that you gav e at the beginning of your post OP. But, I believe you might have left out the 900 lb. gorilla in the corner of the room.

That monster goes by the name of daughter BABYLON. It's judgement is foretold by most of the prophets as coming BEFORE the great and terrible day of the Lord.

The dispensation of the INDIGNATION OF GOD will take place before the culmination of the events that you have listed.

EVERYONE should be forewarned that an ALIEN task force, and an ANGELIC super force (Isaiah 13: Jeremiah 50; Ezekiel 7; Revelation 17) is coming to kick some sinner butt big time.

I do understand what you are saying that these other prophecies are in progress. And I totally agree, but the CONSUMMATION of the Lord GODS judgement upon that evil nation state that is a pattern of Sodom and Gomorrah WILL HAPPEN FIRST.

And it's sad to say that presently it looks like AMERICA has assumed the identity of that twin sister. And will face the coming FIRE. Pray.

Sure I covered it - in the original thread.

This is an extention of that thread.

The reason I do it separately is I don't agree with many expositors and have to add more detail than I do when I am just listing prophecies.

If events unfold as I think they are, I think we will all know who mystery babylon is very soon.

I have a very good idea what is coming. I use the bible as my guide.

First 1/4 population will die from pestilence, famine death and what not. What Jesus calls time of sorrows in Math 24.

Next, at some point in time 1/3 population dies.

Here's an outline of Revelation I did years ago - that tells us how it all goes down. Also did an outline Mathew 24 and Revelation how both are agreement with judgements.

Revelation of Jesus timeline:

7 seal judgements:

First four seal judgements horses of apocalypse start journey -
1) NWO-globalization
2) war(terrorism?)
3) price of food soars,
4) 1/4 part men dies (hunger, pestilence, catastrophes, etc)

5) Christians are killed for believing in Jesus

6) Great earthquake and many signs in sky take place.
men hide in caves fearing wrath of God.

7) Opens up the seven trumpet judgements.

The 144,000 witnesses who are sealed (protected) - and all hell is literally unleashed on earth.

7 Trumpet judgements:

1) 1/3 of all trees destroyed, all grass burned up.

2) Sun, moon stars all effect what is going to happen on earth(differently).

3) 1/3 of sea life, and ships - die and destroyed.

4) The fresh water supply becomes poisonous.

5) Men that received mark are tortured 5 months

6) Another 1/3 part men dies (war? ELE????) in a little over a year.

7) Opens up the seven vial judgements.

Characters of Revelation: first beast(AC), second beast(false prophet), woman on the beast(mystery babylon).

The AC ultimately destroys the woman on the beast, mystery babylon (USD? elite? Fed?).

The AC's sidekick (false prophet) tells all they must worship AC's image, and take a mark to buy or sell.
If anyone does this they are "lost forever".

Meanwhile the earth is going through such turmoil everyone is asking what is going on - sound familiar?

We will hear the gospel from the 144,000 who will be given a song no man can learn, and temple rebuilt?.

2 witnesses will appear - and preach the gospel. After 31/2 years will be killed by beast.

They will lay in street 3 days and in front of the whole world God will ascend them into heaven.

The easiest part of all this time to recognize is the last 3 1/2 years:

All nations will surround Jerusalem. The AC will go in and defile the temple sanctuary. and declare himself to be God. He will then rule the world. He and his sidekick will be able to perform miracles.

7 Vial judgements: At the end of time - only people with mark of beast should be around to receive the double portion of God's wrath - you definitely don't want to be around for this.

Then Jesus meets beast in what is know as armegeddon. Throws the beast in pit for 1000 years. After 1000 years the beast is released. Tries to get nations to go against Jerussalem. After the beast looses that battle is thrown into lake of fire.

God creates new heaven and earth. Jerusalem is center, and God will live with us.

Your almost 2000 years late with the warning OP.

As for Jesus' telling of when the time would come. "This generation will by no means pass away till all these things are fulfilled." (Matthew 24:34) The destruction of Jerusalem occurred within 40 years of him saying this.
 Quoting: Zaphnath Paaneah

Yes, if you read in Luke 21 prior to verse 24 Jesus is talking about 70 AD and the vengeance upon Jerusalem. So in that sense, I agree with you. However, in verse 24 He says "Jerusalem will be trodden down until the time of the Gentiles is fulfilled."

This is being fulfilled now as the Gentiles have run Jerusalem since 70 AD.

After this verse in 30-31 He says you will know the season.

Although no man knows the day and hour, we will know the season.

I agree up to a point.

However, when Jesus says - when you SEE ALL these things

He's referring to everything up to and including the AC in the holy place:

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

15 When ye therefore SHALL SEE the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye SHALL SEE ALL THESE THINGS, know that it is near, even at the doors.

I know you are referring to antiochus ephiphanes.

Problem with this is THE antichrist of end times will control the entire earth. antiochus didn't.

He defiled the temple with zeus whom he wanted all to worship as the supreme God

THE antichrist of end times - declares he IS the supreme God. (Paul Thes.)

Dan 7:23 he "and shall devour the whole earth"

Additionally - THE AC's life will end in the battle of Armageddan with Jesus.

You were doing really good until you started with literal Israel which has nothing to do with end time prophecies. It is spiritual Israel, the bride of Christ that the prophecies apply to. And the 1000 year reign isn't on earth, it's in heaven after Jesus comes.

Well then there wouldn't be any wars, would there?

But there are - especially this one - The Gog Magog War.

The bible verses listed below prove Israel exists before the great tribe.

God tells us in end times no one will defeat Israel - so we know these renigades won't, but they try.

It is after the gog magog war that God says - NOW I will bring them ALL back.

Here is a quick synopsis of it (many go into much more detail than this - which I posted as a three part series by Joel Rosenberg in this thread):

There will be a Gog Magog war (Ezekiel 38) that starts with God putting a hook in the enemies jaw, drawing them down to attack Israel - subsequently God supernaturally destroying them, so ALL heathen, and Israel finally recognize God and fulfillment of the promise that NOW All Israelis return from the 4 corners of the earth. Ezekiel 39:25.

Ezekiel 38

4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:

5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:

6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.

7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.

8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?

Essentially says - don't you realize I am protecting them?

Ezekiel 39

21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God from that day and forward.

23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.

24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.

25 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;

Isaiah 54 (no one will defeat Israel)

15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

This should read muslims and jews, because the catholics are considered christians.

I had to add this because it is satan in the form of the antichrist who goes after christians during the tribulation as stated in Mathew 24 and Revelation 12.

This is another reason why I don't think it is the RCC.

Re: All prophecies the bible says will happen in End Times are happening or almost completed at present
STEP UP

We've had so many, many warnings to get ready in all arenas – physically, spiritually, mentally. Numerous, major natural disasters remind us Earth is a fragile piece of real estate; economic dips and slips send tremors throughout global markets (at one point yesterday, the Dow plunged more than 460 points – a true Pepto-Bismol day); new or formerly 'dead to America' diseases are coming ashore; food is poisoned by GMOs, pesticides, aspartame, etc; and government stripped a record $3 TRILLION from our wallets in taxes this year. The list of dramas and traumas is longer than Walmart lines stampeding for the latest Christmas toy. Government tries to dictate our lives, invades every aspect of privacy, strips away our dignity and rips away Constitutional rights. They strive to replace decency with the unthinkable.

That is extraordinarily ugly for Obama — and Americans! We're the ones who have to live with his 'fundamental transformation of America' for another two years. Heaven only knows what shape this Country will be in by then…

So in the words of Proverbs 27:12 — A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself; The simple pass on and are punished.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 63945462

"Thou shalt not see evil any more": The evil of affliction or punishment; the evil of captivity, disgrace, and contempt. This shows that this prophecy does not respect the Babylonish captivity, and deliverance from that. For, since that time, they have seen evil by Antiochus Epiphanies, in the times of the Maccabees; and by the Romans.

And have had a large and long experience of it; but when they are converted, and returned to their own land in the latter day, all their afflictions and troubles will be at an end, they will know them no more. The Vulgate Latin version renders it, "thou shalt not fear evil any more". So the Targum, "thou shalt not be afraid from before evil any more.

The following Scripture is about the very same thing.

Hebrews 8:12 "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more."

They are forgiven and restored.

Revelation 12:10 "And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night."
