All prophecies the bible says will happen in End Times are happening or almost completed at present

The punishment decreed for breaking God’s everlasting covenant is to be burned with fire.

Wine and song will bring no relief from their suffering..

6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

7 The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.

8 The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.

9 They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.

As Matthew 24 tells us - they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage unaware that a great flood was about to take them away...

All the merry-hearted ends when the LORD brings the judgment of the Great Tribulation, there will be no more “partying as usual.” The days for eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage...

Matthew 24:

7 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

God can quickly make a city of order, a city of confusion; and then it will soon be a city of desolation!

Every house is shut up - because every man, fearful of danger, would fasten his doors so that enemies could not enter.

Isaiah 24

10 The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.

When the Great Tribulation comes the wine stops flowing, the noise of the jubilant ends, the joy of the harp ceases.

The gates of the city are totally ruined, so that the enemy may enter when and where they please.

11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.

12 In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.

That Old Testament God told people to murder their children, this was thousands of years ago when virtually all were illiterate taking advice from people high as hell on hallucinogens, fact.

End times, there is no time, try to figure that one out and you will find your God, the one who will not have you mired in fear for eternity.

Here's part of it - tell me what is not true today:

The bible tells us end times will start slowly and accelerate (like birth pangs) - that's what's happening today with ebola(pestilence), worldwide economic collapse, war, fukushima.

These are some end time events listed in bible that are true today:

Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom. There will be pestilence and disease and famine in diverse places. Mathew 24 and 1-4 seals of Revelation 6.

We have a global economy, the gov't can track everyone and the mark of the beast is ready.

The image of the beast that can move and speak can be transmitted to everyone's home.Rev. 13:14-15

Political correctness has gone completely overboard - people get fired for smallest infraction,
or utterance. Bible refers to this as many will be offended (Mathew 24:10)

Evil and perversity rules - especially on the internet. (Mathew 24:12)

There is a RISE IN SPIRITUALISM doctrines of the devils.1 Timothy 4:1 ...'Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.'

Jesus said we would see earthquakes in diverse places(Mathew 24:7) . The ancients didn't know if there was an earthquake in Alaska - we do

Throughout the earth the story is the same--only a remnant is left, like the stray olives left on the tree or the few grapes left on the vine after harvest...

13 When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.

God seals his remnant so even in the midst of great judgment - there are those who praise him.

Fortunately, before the great tribulation the righteous will be removed - but many will turn to righteousness at that time.

14 They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the Lord, they shall cry aloud from the sea.

15 Wherefore glorify ye the Lord in the fires, even the name of the Lord God of Israel in the isles of the sea.

But I said, My leanness, my leanness . . .—The prophet is recalled from the ideal to the actual, from the glory of the future to the shame and misery of the present. “Leanness,” as in Psalm 22:17; Psalm 109:24, was the natural symbol of extremest sorrow. The earth is violently broken, the earth is split open: The Bible describes some of this judgment during the Great Tribulation (Revelation 6:13-14), and specifically mentions a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth (Revelation 16:18). No wonder Isaiah says, the earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard.

Isaiah 24

19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

The kings of the earth…. will be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit: Under God’s great and final judgment, their status on this earth will buy them nothing.

21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.

Can we get any more destructive than we've seen so far? Probably not.

Although, there is more on the iniquity of men and the ensuing judgements - I'll be skipping those for topics not covered.

For instance:

Chapter 25

God is good and merciful.....it's a chapter of rejoicing...

Isaiah 27 and 28 are important....Some men are held to a higher standard than others...

The wealthy - are to help the poor & widowed...

There are certain rules that apply to priests - yet they are not above breaking all of them...

They are held to an even higher standard....

For instance - drunkardness....

Isaiah 28

7...the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

I want to skip Isaiah for now and concentrate on the book of Jeremiah...

None of these prophets like the message they were delivering to their people - especially Jeremiah.

But, Jeremiah was the only prophet to tell the people in exile - that they will be returned back to their land after 70 years in exile.

So I will quote from it freely, since there is a lot of repetition from previous books i.e. Isaiah, Ezekiel.

During the exile the state of things was then very confused: the Book of the Law was not clearly defined; so that every one indulged his fancy in inventing many impious forms of worship.

Now this fact clearly proves how great is the carelessness and sloth of men in the great concerns of Religion.

God had commanded Moses, that a copy of the Law should not only be kept reverently and carefully in the Temple, but also by the kings themselves, (Deuteronomy 17:18;) and there was also added a command, that the whole Law should be read to the people at their festivals. (Deuteronomy 31:11.) But when the kings departed from the true worship of God, no copy of the Law was preserved by them: and at length the whole Law became as it were extinct...

It was Jeremiah's job to not only warn the people, but to teach them the law...

Some things we learn about Jeremiah - that are opposite of what we see in Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel etc.

Isaiah - when queried who should God commission to warn the people - said "send me"

Not Jeremiah. He essentially said - why me?

Jeremiah was:

Reluctant to accept the calling...but Godly -

Why?

Young - around 20 years old
Inexperienced as priest - but, came from family of priests
Fearful,
Soft hearted

He also knew the environment he was in - as bad as it can get.

Evil, corrupt, immoral - no saving grace for these people likely.

Chances of failure - close to 100%

So why bother?

Other prophets tried and failed.

It's no wonder he hesitated to accept this commission.

God understood this completely and let him know that.

It's not that they weren't religious

They just worshipped every god, but the one true God.

The fervently worshipped idols

Performed child sacrifices,

and allowed prostitution in their temples

Jeremiah was the most hated and treated worse than any prophets before him - and God told him this would happen.

They will fight against you: This promise of God proved true, but so did the other aspect to the promise. The enemies of Jeremiah did not prevail against him, and he served God with distinction through great trials for 40 years.

Same thing happens in the last days.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 24 that christians will be hated for believing in him, and spreading the gospel.

But the promise holds true from God - even today:

It's clear the books Ezekiel, Isaiah and Jeremiah had one mission - and that was to turn their people to God; which hopefully would eventually lead them to turn all nations to God.

These books are considered major because they have many chapters compared to the minor books - which are much shorter in length.

Eventually, I would like to get back to Isaiah - but will concentrate on the minor prophets for now; since they mainly deal with last days prophecies which I feel are extremely urgent at this point in time.
