All prophecies the bible says will happen in End Times are happening or almost completed at present

Chapter 11 leaves one feeling it's a time of celebration.

The violent storms of the tribulation are over,

And the millenial reign is finally here.

A wonderful picture of hope, and what to me are miracles:

6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.

Some of what we saw in Ezekiel we see repeated here in Chapter 11.

God will reunite the northern and southern kingdoms and form one nation of Israel again.

Chapter 11

11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

The first time was in 1948 when the southern kingdom or Judah became a nation.

The second time would be the northern kingdom or Ephraim...

Ezekiel 39

25... Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;

The return will have to be a time when they will be completely safe to travel.

Most likely after the great tribulation and beginning of the millenial reign.

Jesus said in Matthew 24 - were it not for the elect's sake no flesh would survive.

So there will be but a small remnant of them left.

However, if it's before the great tribulation, God would see to it that they are protected.

But, when the time is right - they will know it!!

Isaiah 11

12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

14 But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.

16 And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

At the beginning of Isaiah 11 we encounter the phrase: root of Jesse

What does this refer to?

It's an individual human king from the line of Davids father, and hence by virtue of its context to a future Davidic king.

Isaiah 11

1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

Isaiah’s use of root of Jesse expresses the promise of a messianic king who would be born of David’s family line...God promised to retain a remnant to carry on His work and the bloodline of King David.

What seemed to be a dead, decaying stump would bring forth new life in the Messiah, Jesus Christ.

The branch mentioned in verse 1 is a frequent symbol of Jesus...

Jesus in Rev 22:16 confirms he in the Davidic line:

16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David

We get a glimpse of the kind of ruler he will be:

Isaiah 11

2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;

3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

He will be dependable and not capricious:

5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

The wicked will no longer be able to subject people to their cruelty.

The entire earth will be his kingdom - and the Lord's word will be spread worldwide:

9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

Chapter 12 praises God and gives him glory - he is merciful and forgiving.

My strength is in him..

Chapter 12

6 Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

144,000 witnesses of Revelation sing his praises:

Great and marvelous are thy works Lord God Almighty - just and true are thy ways...

5 Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

Romans 1

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made...

Isaiah 13 is completely opposite of Isaiah 12...

Where his praises are sung and Isaiah gives glory to God.

Men in Isaiah 13 are lifted up with pride. Repentance is beneath them.

Rev 16

9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

It speaks of total devastation.

What God did to Israel because of their rebellion, haughtiness and iniquity...He does to the whole world.

At one point God was totally fed up with Israel.

Now, he is totally fed up with the whole world.

Evil and wickedness will no longer be tolerated.

Correct, Evil and wickedness will not be tolerated. There are two messiah's, one descendant from David to punish the evil and one descendant of Joseph to teach.

Several things are going to happen IMHO. There needs to be a peace force installed in Israel - they will be against Israel in the beginning. Ashkelon will need to be destroyed. The dome of the rock will collapse on its own.

Pay very close attention to the times and read your bible!

Many people think bible prophecy is all about Israel.

Actually, as someone recently said to me - and I agree;

It's not about Israel - prophecy is about saving souls.

Isaiah 13

The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.

2 Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

In reading Isaiah 13 it becomes obvious there are two aspects of prophetic fulfillment. First, there is the immediate and partial fulfillment regarding the empire of Babylon and its king. Second, there is the distant and ultimate fulfillment regarding the Mystery Babylon of Revelation 17.

At some point in time apparently the antichrist destroys her:

16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

Vast numbers of kingdoms are gathering together for a great battle.

Isaiah 13

3 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.

4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the Lord of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.

What happens after the end?

Heaven or hell?

There will be a near fulfillment of vast numbers of armies gathered together against babylon to do God's will and a last days fulfillment.

In the near fulfillment of the judgment of Babylon, they felt like their world was coming apart. In the ultimate fulfillment connected with the return of Jesus, the whole world will be falling apart.

The near fulfillment - actually would not take place til over 100 years after Isaiah's prophecy.

An alliance of Medes and Persians under Cyrus the Great dammed the Euphrates River and marched through the riverbed and under the walls of Babylon to capture the city and overthrow the empire.

We know ancient babylon was responsible for a great many deaths...

But end times babylon although many refer to it as spiritual - is also a physical entity - responsible for many deaths:

Rev 18

24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

End times babylon is a great city - that when she's destroyed will bring havoc to the world's commerce:

10...Babylon, that mighty city

11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble...

15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,

18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!

The day of the Lord is also referred to as the day of wrath.
