All prophecies the bible says will happen in End Times are happening or almost completed at present
In OT and NT the bible tells us end times will start slowly and accelerate (like birth pangs) - that's what's happening today with ebola(pestilence), worldwide economic collapse, war, fukushima.

These are some end time events listed in bible that are true today:

Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom. There will be pestilence and disease and famine in diverse places. Mathew 24 and 1-4 seals of Revelation 6.

We have a global economy, the gov't can track everyone and the mark of the beast is ready.

The image of the beast that can move and speak can be transmitted to everyone's home.Rev. 13:14-15

Political correctness has gone completely overboard - people get fired for smallest infraction,
or utterance. Bible refers to this as many will be offended (Mathew 24:10)

Evil and perversity rules - especially on the internet. (Mathew 24:12)

There is a RISE IN SPIRITUALISM doctrines of the devils.1 Timothy 4:1 ...'Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.'

Jesus said we would see earthquakes in diverse places(Mathew 24:7) . Why would Jesus say this or why should we even care? Because he is letting us know our capabilities in end times.

Here's an updated list replacing the older thread with more bible references:

1a) Israel will not be defeated by her enemies once she is gathered from all the nations of the world - Well, She hasn't. Notice this is well before the Millennial Reign. Isaiah 54:17

Israelis early history was one of being defeated. God tells us in end times - no one will defeat her. The 6 day war was one of amazing miracles for Israel:
godssecret.wordpress.com/2010/10/05/miracles-in-the-six-day-war

Here's a war that hasn't happened yet - but appears close:

There will be a Gog Magog war (Ezekiel 38) that starts with God putting a hook in the enemies jaw, drawing them down to attack Israel - subsequently God supernaturally destroying them, so ALL heathen, and Israel finally recognize God and fulfillment of the promise that NOW All Israelis return from the 4 corners of the earth. Ezekiel 39:25.

1) Israel becomes a nation again, after being conquered and inhabitants dispersed throughout the world. This has never been done by another nation. Ezekiel 36,37:22 and 38; Jeremiah 30 - 31 Isaiah 43 etc. Note: This event signaled start of end times. Since 1948 things have been
steadily marching towards end with prophecies consistently coming true:

2) Globalization and New World Order. We already are a global economic world order, and some even refer to people in the world as citizens of the world. It's obvious we are headed to a new world order. Rev 6 - lst seal, Rev 13 - Dan 7:23 he "and shall devour the whole earth"; Zech 9:10 He will come in peace and his dominion shall be to the ends of the earth.

3) The global government will be able to track all the people in the world. This was impossible until now. How? - Computer databases. Apparently - we are already doing this. Rev 13:17 - True

4) God told Abraham he would be the father of many great nations and descendants too numerous to count. At present the population of world 7 billion and counting - why is this important? Because all inhabitants of the earth will be required to take mark of beast-and it can't be done without computers. (rev 13). Genesis 15 - 17

5) We now have the ability world wide to worship an image of the AC. This was impossible until now - How? With smartphones, webcams, TV, satellie etc. This will be a worldwide requirement.

How will this be enforced - we already have cameras in our TV's, smartphones etc. Rev 13

If you notice all end time prophecies involve entire earth/world not one or 2 nations.

6) Jesus said we will be able to *SEE the AC defile the holy place, while in a field/on rooftop. How is this possible? with smartphones; also the 2 witnesses lying in the streets in Jerusalem, and SEE them ascend into heaven. We will SEE God judging Israel's enemies Ezekiel 39:21. Impossible until now. Math 24, Dan 7 - 12, Rev 11:7

* [link to www.godlikeproductions.com]

7) knowledge will increase - and how. As described above. Amazing development in last 50 years, and has increased Exponentially last 10 years than last 6,000 years. This had to happen to allow AL bible prophecy to be fulfilled. Dan 12 - True

8) Jesus said nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom - whole world is fracturing. It's involved in wars, threats of wars, riots etc - Math 24 - True

9) disasterous pestilence and disease - antibiotics losing effective, ebola, mysterious diseases showing up; new strains bird flu, swine flu etc

10) people will worship the creation and not the creator - God is being mocked, hollywood stars, and sports figures idolized. - True

11) many will be offended - Political correctness is completely out of control. Seems everyone these days is offended, and many people are being fired for just saying a word. Math 24:10 - True

12) evil and iniquity abounds - porn etc biggest business on internet, amongst other things. Mathew 24, Romans 1. Big True

13) people will openly mock God - saying where is your God - he hasn't shown up - never will.
2 Peter:3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

14) people will hate Jesus and christians Math 24
15) christians will be persecuted. Math 24
16) children will become disobedient to authority and parents. Romans 1
17) food costs soar. Rev 6
18) people will run to and fro - they do. Dan 12 airplanes.
19) Iran will become a great nation - Dan 8:4
20) Jerusalem will be a burden to all - zachariah - 12:3 - True
21) Israel's land will be divided - gaza and more to come - True
22) all nation will turn against Israel - Obama is abandoning Israel today. Luke 21 - True
23) Roman empire is revived and becomes great again - EU - Dan 7:7
24) wild beasts will turn on humans - as we move in on their land. - Rev 6
25) people approve of and encourage evil. Romans 1:18- 32 True
26) good becomes evil and evil good - moral relativism happening today. Some even claim there is no evil. - True
27) the gospel will be preached throughout all nations - it is (internet). mathew 24:14 - True
28) many will be turned to righteousness - see example below. Dan 12
29) christians will warn we are in end times - but many will not believe it Dan 12
30) many false prophets shall arise - they have. Math 24:11
31) Israel will fly into the wilderness on the wings of an eagle - we have airplanes today.
32) goat in Daniel 8:5 will move across the whole earth without touching the ground - drones,
33) there will be electronic money - pretty much there with credit and debit cards.
34) love will grow cold - look at all viral videos on internet of torture, rape etc.

additional prophecies added to list below:

35) Rev 12:10

Satan in end times is allowed for a short period of time to rule the earth. That's why he is referred to as the god of this world. And his rule is becoming very evident.

Isa. 41:18-20

As mentioned above, another prophecy is being fulfilled right before our very eyes as Israel is slowly but surely transforming from a desolate, wasteland to a beautiful, fruitful and plentiful nation.

The prophecy was that it would remain a wasteland until the return of "His people".

An excerpt:From Rags to Riches - contrasts then and now:

Mark Twain described Palestine in the 19th century as a "blistering, naked, and treeless land" (Innocents Abroad, Vol. II, p. 234). He spoke of the villages as "ugly, cramped, uncomfortable, and filthv" (Ibid., v. 260). He stated, "It was better to swallow a devil than to have to live in such a place" (Ibid., p. 266). He was describing the area around the now beautiful Sea of Galilee, whose surrounding hills are covered with trees and where forests abound. In the day of Israel's restoration, various types of trees will be abundant there once again (Isa. 41:18-20).

36) Another End Time Sign - RISE IN SPIRITUALISM doctrines of the devils.

1 Timothy 4:1 ...'Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.'

37) 2 Timothy 4:3

In the last days people will turn to unsound doctrine only wanting their ears tickled and not the truth.

38) 2 Timothy 3:1

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

Another prophecy in the bible is man destroys the world. - we are very far advanced in seeing this one fulfilled.

Isaiah 54 - mentioned above.

No Nation can defeat Israel:

15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.

39) Daniel 12:

The wicked will not understand what is going on (paraphrased) - so true
Another prophecy that has been fulfilled today:

40) Isaiah 11:10

In that day there shall be a root of Jesse whom the Gentiles shall seek.

Jesus is from the root of Jesse.

In that day is end times.

It is mostly gentiles who believe in Jesus, and most Jews still believe the messiah has yet to come.

------------

Another bible prophecy that is true and continuing to be true.

41) Mathew 24:35

Jesus said that the world would pass away - but his word never will; his word is 2000 years and still going strong.

He also tells us that the gospel (his word) - will spread to all nations, and then the end.

42) Revelation 18:18 God destroys man who destroys the earth. - nuclear reactors doing a pretty good job of this (especially fukushima)

Egypt would exist in the last days - but only as a "lowly Kingdom" (Ezekiel 29:14-16). Egypt was one of the world's greatest ancient civilizations. Yet today, as prophesied, Egypt remains - but only as a third world nation - which will "never again exalt itself above the nations" (v. 15). And while God's Word foretold of the demise of many other ancient people groups and kingdoms (which have long since vanished), Egypt remains!

43) Worldwide systemic meltdown financially - happening today:
Revelation 18:11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

James 5:3
Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

44) Romans 1:28

....just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind....they are gossips, slanders, Godhaters, insolent, arrogant and boast

Your almost 2000 years late with the warning OP.

As for Jesus' telling of when the time would come. "This generation will by no means pass away till all these things are fulfilled." (Matthew 24:34) The destruction of Jerusalem occurred within 40 years of him saying this.

There has been Famine:

One of them, named Agabus, stood up and through the Spirit predicted that a severe famine would spread over the entire Roman world. (This happened during the reign of Claudius.) (Acts 11:28)

False Christs and false teachers

Now for some time a man named Simon had practiced sorcery in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. He boasted that he was someone great, and all the people, both high and low, gave him their attention and exclaimed, “This man is rightly called the Great Power of God.” They followed him because he had amazed them for a long time with his sorcery. (Acts 8: 9-11)

Persecution of Christians

On that day a great persecution broke out against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria. Godly men buried Stephen and mourned deeply for him. But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off both men and women and put them in prison. (Acts 8:1-3)

Wars and rumors of wars

Too many examples to list including when the Romans destroyed the Temple.

History shows us that all end time prophecies during the past 2,000 plus years have been wrong; except those of Jesus. His predictions of the fall of Jerusalem and the Temple, his resurrection, His return , etc. They have all come to pass.

All that remains to take place is God's judgement and it will come as a thief in the night when people least expect it.

That's why I included this:

There will be a Gog Magog war (Ezekiel 38) that starts with God putting a hook in the enemies jaw, drawing them down to attack Israel - subsequently God supernaturally destroying them, so ALL heathen, and Israel finally recognize God and fulfillment of the promise that NOW All Israelis return from the 4 corners of the earth. Ezekiel 39:25.

Here's the prophecy:

n the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

Notice Nations - not nation

9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.

10 Thus saith the Lord God; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:

11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.

13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?

14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord God; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?

Don't you know I am protecting my people?
15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:

16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

17 Thus saith the Lord God; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?

18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord God, that my fury shall come up in my face.

19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;

Ezekiel 39:25

NOW I will bring them ALL back

25 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;

26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.

27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;

28 Then shall they know that I am the Lord their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.

Revelation was about the fall of roman. It was considered a book of history until despensationalism gained popularity after the civil war. Though invented in England, it's a decidedly american only theological thought.

no fulfillment of God bring back ALL of the Israelis until after the gog magog war.

Also - Antichrist has not devoured the entire world.

ALL the people of the earth are not required to take the mark of the beast to buy or sell as of yet.

We haven't seen him defile the temple and declare he is the god of the universe.

No it's not zeus.

The AC declares himself god.

So many things haven't been fulfilled yet.

But we are close!!

A Mathematical Bible Prophecy . . .

Although a little obscure (and sophisticated) this is one of the most fascinating prophecies found in the Bible.

Here, we find God telling Ezekiel that each day he (Ezekiel) lies on his side will represent one year of punishment for the nation Israel (Israel + Judah) because of their iniquities (sins) against God . . .

So, we have:

390 days Judgment against the 10 northern tribes 'Israel'

+ 40 days Judgment against the 2 southern tribes 'Judah'

= 430 years Judgment against the nation of Israel

The Fulfillment of the Prophetic Judgment Begins . . .

In 606 B.C. Israel (Judah) was taken into captivity by Babylon for exactly 70 years ..

430 years of judgment determined against nation Israel

- 70 years fulfilled during the captivity in Babylon

= 360 years remaining in judgment against the nation of Israel

The Mystery of 360 Years . . .

There should have been a total of 360 years left in judgment against Israel after their release from Babylonian captivity by the Persian general Cyrus, exactly 70 years after the Babylonian captivity began (just as the prophet Jeremiah had prophesied before the captivity) ... but where was the remaining 360 year judgment in Israel's history??!

The '7X' Factor of God's Judgment . . .

Bible scholars could not find any specific captivity or dispersion that fulfilled these 360 years left in the judgment until a close look in the book of Leviticus revealed a startling prophetic warning ...

"And after all this, if you do not obey Me,

then I (God) will punish you seven times more for your sins."

(Leviticus 26:18)

"Then, if you walk contrary to Me,

and are not willing to obey Me,

I (God) will bring on you seven times more plagues,

according to your sins."

(Leviticus 26:21)

"And after all this,

if you do not obey Me,

but walk contrary to Me,

then I (God) also will walk contrary to you in fury;

and I, even I will chastise you seven times for your sins.:

(Leviticus 26:27-28)

"I (God) will scatter you among the nations

and draw a sword after you;

your Land shall be desolate

and your cities waste."

(Leviticus 26:33)

The 7X factor of God's judgment against nation Israel. God warned Israel if they continued in their disobedience He would multiply their judgment by seven times! Remember, as noted throughout these prophetic studies, God says what He means and He means what He says!

Prophecy Fulfilled . .
.

Now, let's apply the 7X factor to the remaining 360 years of judgment against nation Israel in this remarkable mathematical prophecy . . .

360 Remaining years of judgment

x 7 The prophetic '7X' factor

= 2,520 Years of judgment remained against nation Israel

God gave the Jews the most sophisticated calendar on Earth. It is both a Lunar and a Solar calendar. The Jewish calendar uses a 360 day lunar (and prophetic) year and then adds a 'Leap Month' on specific years to accurately coincide with the Solar cycle we use on our 'Julian' calendar ...

The Bible uses 360 day years for prophecies and expects us to add the appropriate 'leap months' on schedule. So, the easiest way to unravel this prophecy is to first convert this prophecy into days ...

2,520 years

x 360 days

= 907,200 days of judgment remained against nation Israel after the Babylonian captivity
Now, convert the 907,200 days found in this prophecy into our 365.25 day solar years (the .25 adjusts for leap years) . . .

907,200 days ÷ 365.25 days = 2,483.78 years of judgment remained against nation Israel

With this information, let's look at this remarkable prophecy again . . .

606 B.C Israel taken into Babylonian captivity

- 70 Years for 70 years

= 536 B.C. End of first 70 years of judgment

+ 2483 Years Now add the 2,483 years remaining in this judgment

+ 1 Year Add 1 year because there is no "0" B.C. or A.D.

= 1948 AD! End of judgment against nation Israel

Israel Back in Her Land as a Nation . . . in 1948!

Judah (Israel) was taken into captivity by the Babylonians in 606 B.C. They were released from captivity 70 years later by the Persians in 536 A.D., exactly as the prophet Jeremiah had prophesied, but their land was still under the control of the Persians. The Persians were later conquered by the Greeks, and the land of Israel remained under Greek control. The Greeks were then conquered by Rome and the land of Israel remained under Roman control. After failed rebellions against Rome around 70 A.D. and another around 100 years later, the Romans removed the Jews from the land of Israel, dispersed them around the world, and renamed the land 'Palestine' after the enemies of Israel. Then, after 2,500 years, for the first time since the Babylonian captivity in 606 B.C., the world watched as Israel once again appeared on the world map as a sovereign nation, on May 14, 1948 ... exactly when the Bible said it would!

Revelation was about the fall of roman. It was considered a book of history until despensationalism gained popularity after the civil war. Though invented in England, it's a decidedly american only theological thought.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45157118

"And after all this,

if you do not obey Me,

but walk contrary to Me,

then I (God) also will walk contrary to you in fury;

and I, even I will chastise you seven times for your sins.:

(Leviticus 26:27-28)

"I (God) will scatter you among the nations

and draw a sword after you;

your Land shall be desolate

and your cities waste."

606 B.C Israel taken into Babylonian captivity

 Quoting: Zaphnath Paaneah

Actually Jesus said this:

Mathew 24:15 When ye therefore shall SEE the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, LET HIM UNDERSTAND:)....17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains

It doesn't say - ride on horseback and warn everyone, or sound an alarm. This says, the minute you SEE him, wherever you are - FLEE. This will NOT be an anticipated event.

How much time is left? I don't know.

Why should we care? Because Jesus is giving us an idea of how much knowledge has to increase (Dan 12) before all prophecies can be fulfilled.

Mathew 24:...when ye shall SEE all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

:11).

Keep in mind only priests should enter holy place - so no faithful worshipers will be there.

What happens after this event? Great Tribulation.

Jesus said the time of sorrows before the great trib will start slowly and accelerate - this is what is happening today with ebola, worldwide economic collapse, war, fukushima.

He also said we would see earthquakes in diverse places. Why would Jesus say this or again, why should we even care? Because he is letting us know our capabilities in end times.

In those days they had no idea what earthquakes were happening around the world - nor did they care.

Some end time events listed in bible that are true today:

Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom. There will be pestilence and
disease and famine in diverse places. Mathew 24 and 1-4 seals of Revelation.

We have a global economy, the gov't can track everyone and the mark of the beast is ready.

The image of the beast that can move and speak can be transmitted to everyone's home. Rev 13:15

Political correctness has become a tool the antichrist will use to the fullest
to take control of the world through the already acquiescent media.

Evil and perversity rules - especially on the internet.

Here we go again, once again the end times. So op, don't you think humans said the same thing about the Spanish flu, or say the Ebonic plague which decimated millions? Let go of this end thing, as there is always going to be a pandemic, always going to be chaos, but your savior is not coming back, if he was, he would have been back hundreds if not thousands of years ago.

Re: All prophecies the bible says will happen in End Times are happening or almost completed at present
Of course the prophecies are almost finished, they've been ongoing for almost 2,000 years. When the Apostle John wrote down his Revelation from Jesus Christ, he said these were things that must "shortly come to pass" (Revelation 1:1), so obviously they began right after he wrote the things down. The book of Revelation is a history of God's people down to our time and it also traces Christ's movements in the heavenly Sanctuary as He ministers for us (read the book of Hebrews).

Also, there are no dispensations. The woman of Revelation 12 represents the God's Old Testament people and also His New Testament people, the stars in her crown represent the twelve sons of Jacob/Israel as well as the twelve Apostles. It's the same woman. The Jews were supposed to accept their Messiah, but they didn't, they screwed up big time.

We are definitely at the end of the end ties.

The technology never existed before this generation to fulfill ALL prophecies - it does NOW:

So when Jesus says we will SEE the antichrist defile the holy place from a field or on a rooftop - one has to ask why did Jesus use these examples? This is only possible with a smartphone

2 Peter:3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

In the parable of the fig tree - Jesus says when we SEE ALL these things - including the AC in the holy place - THIS is the generation that shall see all prophecies fulfilled.

Also - the mark of the beast can be administered now

The beast that moves and speaks and must worshiped or be killed can be transmitted to everyones home now.

All these prophecies require the entire world - to SEE ALL these things also.

Antichrist will devour the entire world Dan7. - and then declare he is God.

Dispensationalism is a blasphemy. You're a false prophet peddling theology invented in the 1830s. You're going to hell.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45157118

Methodically go through every prophecy I posted and you will find they are all true or very much in the process of being fulfilled. Also note I posted the book, chapter and verse for each.

About the age of dispensationalism - you might find this interesting:

John in these particular verses, is saying there will be no other dispensations given to us before the end of the great tribulation - this is the last.

At present we are under the dispensation of grace - meaning:

"The sixth dispensation, the one in which we now live, is the Dispensation of Grace. It began with the New Covenant in Christ’s blood (Luke 22:20). This “Age of Grace” or “Church Age” occurs between the 69th and 70th week of Daniel 9:24. It starts with the death of Christ and ends with the Rapture of the church (1 Thessalonians 4). This dispensation is worldwide and includes both Jews and the Gentiles. Man’s responsibility during the Dispensation of Grace is to believe in Jesus, the Son of God (John 3:18). In this dispensation the Holy Spirit indwells believers as the Comforter (John 14:16-26). This dispensation has lasted for over 2,000 years, and no one knows when it will end. We do know that it will end with the Rapture of all born-again believers from the earth to go to heaven with Christ. Following the Rapture will be the judgments of God lasting for seven years."

God is so wonderful in His poetry

"He said, “Move the stone away.”

Martha said, “But, Lord, it has been four days since Lazarus died. There will be a bad smell.” Martha was the sister of the dead man.

40 Then Jesus said to her, “Remember what I told you? I said that if you believed, you would see God’s divine greatness.”

41 So they moved the stone away from the entrance. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you heard me."

Yeah? And sometimes "shortly" means just what it says. I'm sure John was not thinking in terms of the prophecies beginning after a thousand years and then all of them happening at the same time. The historical flow of the Bible prophecies trace the movements of Christianity and will take us to the exact place we should be at the exact time the specific event is happening; but most churches prefer to guess and assign "dispensations" and different requirements along the line, they look in the wrong place for fulfillment of the prophecies. However, it will come together eventually and people will choose for or against God.

…7But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. 8But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.

Hosea 6:2

Yeah? And sometimes "shortly" means just what it says. I'm sure John was not thinking in terms of the prophecies beginning after a thousand years and then all of them happening at the same time. The historical flow of the Bible prophecies traces the movements of Christianity and will take us to the exact place we should be at the exact time the specific event is happening; but most churches prefer to guess and assign "dispensations" and different requirements along the line, they look in the wrong place for fulfillment of the prophecies. However, it will come together eventually and people will choose for or against God.

Oh, and how do you expect to interpret a prophecy correctly if you use II Peter 3:8? That verse has nothing to do with interpreting prophecy; imagine how confusing it would be, this thing could go on for many thousands of years while other texts imply imminence. Read the context of what Peter was talking about. No wonder people laugh at Christians.
