Gnosticism is heresy? Take another look ~Luke 11:52 “Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.” As "knowledge" is "gnosis" ..... the gnostics had the correct understanding of Yahshua's teachings. They had the key that Yahshua spoke of. It's been hidden through the centuries just as Jesus accused the pharisees. The pharisees were aware of this information, and they kept it hidden. But why? At least they were ahead of the ballgame as compared to xtrians today who are just completely ignorant.
