I eat raw fish more than most people and never had parasites....I checked when I get my yearly check ups....Sushi sold in the US has to be flash frozen before use to kill off worms....I even eat saltwater fish right off the hook, I bring wasabi, soy sauce, and ginger on the boat...

Hell I can eat fruits and vegetables straight from the garden no problem.

Fish so fresh that I had to bop it on the head to kill it first....fish that fresh is a totally different experience....the texture is crisp and the flavor is slightly sweet with a nice clean brininess....these flavors disappear after a day on ice or refrigerated.... My favorites is summer flounder and tuna...
