3995 Khz.........

Pretty sure it used to be on 3950usb, but those were the days of Vic, Harvey, Harrison, and sometimes Sid who lived on some mountain East of Albuquerque and had an amazing signal...

Friday night there was another net with Jim Thomas, the guy who went on to found Media Bypass magazine. This was late 80s, early 90s... Some interesting characters on the ham bands for sure!

Got my TS-530SP fixed this week.

Also bought an Ameritron AL-811 amplifier.

Of course......showed up damaged.

One of 3 tubes broken and load coil post broken.

Fixed post and running on 2 tubes, maybe 400 watts.

new tubes ordered. $150 refunded.

working well but not full output, maybe 400 watts.
