Why is it, that the things that pediatrician says not to do is the things that the baby is most at ease with? It's like the Dr. is Buzz Killington. Don't let the baby sleep in bed with you... If the baby drank from the bottle, toss it... No blankets... No swaddle blankets... No having fun with your baby... No letting your baby sleep, wake her up every two hours and feed her... No socks... No shirt... No shoes... No service... Fuck Yea! |

No shirt... No shoes... No service... No one loves your daughter more than you & mama. Do what feels right, and listen to each other. All my babies slept with me. All were swaddled. They were not given vaccines until 1 year old, when I stppped breastfeeding. Today, I would give them none. They got the 8 vax I received growing up, not the 28 recommended at the time. I think it is up to 45 now, by age 6. I did not let my babies cry (not talking toddlers here, babies are different). They are wet, hungry, cold, hot, have gas (hold over shoulder and gently bounce while patting back), or simply want to be held, or are tired. Follow your instincts!
