Have you ever considered not shampooing your hair with hair products?

I know it sounds really crazy to not shampoo your hair with traditional products (shampoo and conditioner) but it really works.

I didn't want to post anything until I tried it myself but I have been "Poo" free for 2 months now and I can say going poo free might have been one of the best decision I have ever made in my life.

Let me preface this story with I have long hair. Really LONG hair, past my butt which I keep tied up in a sexy bun.

I've spent lots of money on shampoo and conditioner in my life. I use 1/3 a bottle of conditioner ever time I wash my hair just to get the knots out. But not any more.

Now I pour baking soda into a cup that I mix with water and create a slurry which I pour onto my roots. I scrub my hair as if I had shampoo in my hair...scrub, scrub, and rinse. It feels very weird but it works. My hair ends up squeaky clean.

Then I mix apple cider vinegar with water, pour it over my hair, comb through and rinse.

After my personal experiment I can say my hair has never felt so clean and soft in my life. And I'm not using any chemicals that are harming my body. My hair is healthier and more beautiful than ever.

No poo for about 15 years now, maybe longer.

Don't use anything at all except rinse with water in shower and use my fingers to massage my hair. I do keep it relatively short.

No Poo, almost a must for curly hair. I do the ACV rinse and then use a leave in organic conditioner. Been doing it for years now.

I live in California. I make my own shampoo from a plant called soap plant. Chlorogalum pomeridianum. Works pretty good. Good facial soap too. It's important to wash your hair with Distilled water cause hardness and chlorine can dry out our hair and scalp

I only use alberto vo5 on my hair. beeen doing it for 2 years now, and my hair is very long, but it's always been thin. then, shock of shocks, I looked really close at it this morning because I thought I had some bald patches. Nope, my hair is coming out silver grey...ALL OF IT. I have 1/2 inch of silver, grey and yellow roots interspersed with very few of my natural black/brown left. I mean, shit...what causes all your hair to turn grey at once? I have some stress, but it's not that bad.

I use Apple Cider Vinegar in a spray bottle, straight. As a replacement for shampoo, and for the most part soap (unless I am really grimy)

It's funny but you don't realize your skin is broken/scratched somewhere until you spray yourself down.

Squeaky clean, you don't realize the film you have by using normal products.
