Should I keep stacking silver?
I want to know what people think? Should I keep stacking physical silver? I see a huge spike coming at some point. Especially if our dollar ever takes a plunge. What do you guys think? Any other silvertards like me? Also don't come at me about, "you cant eat silver" because im way past that stage in the prep game.

I would dump all that worthless metal and buy stocks. You can't lose because the market only goes up now.

Re: Should I keep stacking silver?
Personally I think it is a smart idea, but at the same time I see potential for a spike downwards to at least 16.5 before the major upwards spike...

But my guess is as good or bad as any. Personally I would get in at the best possible entry.

I fully understand your humor. But corrections should come both ways, first in the market, then in the au/ag rate. Should be around 17 to 1 and is closer to 65 to 1 now so...

Yeah of course I was just kidding. Personally, I'm going to wait for one final flush on metals to add which will most likely coincide with a market blow off top.

Hell yes!

Anything that is tangible and useful will retain value, unlike the dollar. So I'm a huge proponent of silver as well as all the other tangible assets. Ownership of silver is miniscule but some day a lot of people will want to own bullion.

I'm stacking McDonald burgers under the bed, you can eat those, and they last forever.

I just have to keep fighting the Rats for them.

I'm hiding Jew-Dollars in the lining of my underpants, just in case someone tries to rob me.

Nobody steals Jew-Dollars that smell like ripe underpants.

Stack away friend, at the very least, you are taking Jew-Dollars away from the Psychopaths on Wall-Street.

When you purchase Stocks or Bonds, you are saying,

"Here gamble this for me, win or lose, I want you to write yourself a big fat bonus check."

Yes.

I think pre-1965 US silver coinage is way underpriced these days. You can find it for very close to spot on some online sites, and, depending on where you live, can maybe find it for less than spot by placing ads on Craigslist looking to buy it. It's basically fractional silver without the stupid high premiums of fractional .999 silver, it is recognizable, and it is no longer being produced. It's win, win, win in my book.

Re: Should I keep stacking silver?
Keep what you have but stop buying. I took a break for 2 years after stacking for over 15 years. A year ago I bought a lot in the 18s and thought we would be much higher by now. Silver has shown weakness. I would not be surprised if we see prices 10-20% lower. A wise old man told me years ago that PMs would spike and fall and that it would take until 2020 to see those high numbers again. So far he has been right about everything he has ever told me and 5 years after the spike 2020 could be right.

Keep on stacking, especially with the price just above production costs.

Also, have the mindset that you are leaving it to your children, i.e. generational-buy and hold; wish my parents would have done the same for me...

I know the feeling, but I can't help but think that is their plan to push people away from silver, but if more of us would just buy and hold, we could force their hand.

Craigslist, yeah, maybe you can find pre-65 silver around spot, but anywhere else, you pay up for it.

I like this quote a lot, if we could get like 1 million people to buy say, 100 ounces in one day, the market would flip flop on the spot! I think im just gonna keep stacking, Ive bought and sold everytime I need money, but this time im doing alright in life and will not be selling.

Re: Should I keep stacking silver?
so the metals go down buy it cheaper go way up sell you can not lose unless you sell at a loss plain and simple stocks and fiat currency can and will go to zero metals always have value price never really changes its the value of the dollar that goes up and down.

remember in 1964 three silver dimes would buy a gallon of gas today those same 3 dimes will still buy a gallon of gas

I stack silver myself but no matter how much physical we buy it wont change spot price our buys are not recorded on the exchanges that make up the spot price thats all paper market so just take advantage of these low prices it will work out in the long run gotta be patient

Re: Should I keep stacking silver?
Get phys Silver in the form you have least of. Dimes are best for barter because price discovery with barter is best with the smallest recognized unit of exchange.

That's why old junk[sic] dimes are usually more worn, because they were used the most. Small profits are gained and lost according to minute attention to details,eh? Old pennies and nickels(Canadian) too for the same reason.

I personally love having a Silver spoon with me alla time so when I grab something on the road, like a burrito, I can use classy utensils instead of crap plastic. Stranger interaction starter, too, which makes life interesting for me so I can preach the FRN vs REAL MONEY thing,ya hey! I don't understand why folks don't regularly use silver, most everyone has some spoon somewhere. Cultivate a good relationship with your local old time scrapper. You know the guy/gal sorta seedy clientelle, but with time you realize they value your patronage and so can be actually trustworthy.

GSR talk is correct, especially if it is an Ebola fighter in some way, the possibilities are quite real that a new therapy might come along with feverish (sorry)effort a deadly plague brings

It won’t change the price, at least not at first. But, there is the supply demand side of the equation that will trump the paper price eventually. Alas, most people either don’t know or don’t care that our money is controlled by the Feds and are more than happy to play their game. And that is why they keep the price down, because as prices go up, demand increases. Their objective is keep the price just above the average mining costs so enough mines can stay open to meet supply.

I think now is the time to dollar cost average in because prices should fluctuate between $15 and $25 over the next several years. Silver is not a get rich quick scheme. It is simply a way to store wealth outside of the system, just in case. It should be viewed as an insurance policy you hope you never have to cash in, but instead leave to your family.
