EBOLA- What do I need to be doing right NOW?

Hey m8, your right, and great points. Another thing that I find correct it the fact that you arent going to hear much of anything because the news is too bad to bare. So you will indeed have to rely on local media and such.

Im waiting for 2 accounts in the general area of 1000km radius. which is 600miles. As soon as that occurs, its time to shelter in some other place.

I would just keep gathering the necessities as it were until you start hearing reports of illness that resembles the charistics then discern for yourself. They sure in heck arent going to just come out and say 'We now have an outbreak of ebola! On with the kittens and string in later news".

Bringing up pet prepping is something I'm interested in. I've prepped for my family and keep doing so. I stocked up on cat food and cat litter for thecats.........

But I also have birds, iguanas and geckos. This is proving to be more difficult.

Thankfully some bird seed and dry gecko powder can be stored for years but they have fresh fruit & veggie needs. I've started growing food just for them but its not quite enough.

Also trying to breed crickets but they are so foul in large numbers and its not working so well.

Yeah I have a cat and a box turtle, so this is an interesting topic as well. Gotta keep them happy and healthy =) Even though it isn't ideal, I know my box turtle would probably be okay with just his box turtle crunchies.

Wonder what kind of physical shape we should be in? Like, should there be a minimum "need to be able to lift x amount of lbs and run x amount of miles in x amount of minutes"? Things like that?
