I not, then your probably right. It has supposedly been confirmed that the facebook account was a fake. Ferguson police, however, have stated that the officer was unaware of the alleged robbery. They have also said that the officer approached the boys for being in the middle of the street. I don't believe walking in the middle of the street warrants being harassed by armed men. So I'm having a problem with this being justified from the jump. And when such harassment results in jaywalkers being chased down by a militant officer who has his weapon drawn, and the citizen possibly tries to fight back, I wonder how this officer can then go on to claim he was only defending himself. The state's coercive authority by way of indiscriminate violence is what remains unjustified. All of the racist bullshit on so many of these threads is so disheartening. It perpetuates the stereotype about non-statists; that we're all a bunch of ignorant hate-mongering racists. When Cliven Bundy was trashed in the media, people here were so willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I was one of those people. But I recall how bad it looked for Bundy. That clip of him making those seemingly racist comments was very convincing. But thankfully I distrust and question all news sources. And I know that the real liars and abusers are agents of the coercive state. So I was willing to believe that I wasn't getting the whole picture. And it turned out I was right. Bundy was taken out of context. It is entirely possible that the actions of Michael Brown have been taken out of context and manipulated. But too many people aren't willing to engage in critical thinking when a black kid from the ghetto is involved. |

Nagroes think they own the street and walk in the street all of the time. When one of them gets hit, there is a big hoorah. They are too ignorant to keep on the sidewalks OR let vehicles go by. I really think being in the Street is a form of rebellion against the system tightening up on welfare and making baby breeders get a job. |

The knee-jerk judgements I've been reading in many of these Michael Brown threads about race and culture work to legitimize the police state. Not only will the state not protect you from the people who wish to bring you harm. The state actively creates the class of people who wish to do you harm. And if creating a culture of desperation and violence wasn't enough, the state also employs and militarizes (on our dime) officers who spend most of their time punishing and enslaving our friends and family rather than protecting and serving. Quoting: Born Free From what I've read, the officer was unaware of the alleged robbery. I'd also like to know why the store clerk denied to news reporters that there was ever such an incident. I'd also be interested in hearing the 911 call that the store clerk made. But still, assuming the worst is true about Micheal Brown; big black teenage boys who steal cigars and challenge authority don't legitimize the militarization of double digit IQ officers who get to kill with impunity. The state remains unjustified. anyone in secret socities takes an oath to "protect their brother" right or wrong this is what you are seeing |
