At what point in history did women stop loving men?

American "women" view men as totally disposable, and replaceable in a matter of minutes, in some cases.

A man would have to be crazy to get involved with an average woman in America. It's FAR too dangerous. You will either be a whipped jellyfish, or end up in prison.

There are some exceptions, but those women are all taken, and for good reason.

I've seen on this very site, men rail against the "stay at home" mom as a lazy bitch who won't work.

Then I've seen them rail against women for not being good mom's and stay at home.

I'm pretty sure it's when that first judge gave the woman everything the man had and would have in divorce court. Now love doesn't even enter into the picture, the woman makes a calculated decision based on time invested vs rewards available.....usually a mans' prime earning years.

I feel like if both men and women would see pas the pre-conceived notions of how one should be valuable to the other, the drama would be gone. That's a bit too idealistic I know, on what planet would a species which was wholly indifferent to its other members survive.. And why do any of us keep others around if not for what we can get out of them, whether financially, physically or emotionally; or what we can give to them, for those of us who are capable of feeling pleasure from helping others, which is yet still a selfish reason, even in giving.. So it seems to me that the issue is mainly the lack of reciprocation. You hear both men and women say that the problems are due to lack of effort on their partners part, whether a woman's lack of effort to maintain physical appeal for men, or a man's lack of effort to maintain emotional appeal for women.

Can it be that the solution isn't to withdraw even further therefore causing pain and anguish, but to instead open up and allow the needs of the other to be met, not punishing for lack of support, merely offering support in good faith of reciprocation?

I think their basic programming confuses them into
make unwise choices in a modern society.

So after a few of these choices they become jaded.

For the most part all jaded people become incapable of love.

Men repressed women for years and took advantage of the situation. Perhaps if they loved their woman and treated her and the family with respect, the women would have been happier in the situation? My dad was a good man and my mother treated him as a loving wife would. He was her world.

My experience with men has been much different. I don't think it was feminism more that the sexual revolution, the ease of divorce, and the general lack of morals in society. Those all hit men and women equally.

When did I lose respect for my first love? Was it the forcible sex? Was it when he punched me in the arm when we were arguing about him lying about going to a concert without me? Was it when I spent my day off cleaning the apt and he wouldn't carry the trash downstairs? Was it when he started sitting around in the nude all the time watching TV and that was all he would do? Actually, it was when I realized that he was incapable of telling the truth.

Men, you want love and respect? Those are things you have to earn. Quit looking for beauty and sexy and start looking for a woman with some character. When you treat her with love and respect, then, you might find a woman who will love and respect you back.

For most of history men took care of women at had them on a pedestal and women had life very good, but the feminists come along and they demand equality which is funny, they had more to start with.
Woman use men to provide and get what they want and expect men to deliver. They have become entitled bitches that don't care about the men. Men have woken up and no longer want to marry, just be friends have sex and move on. With the equality women lose the protection they are used to as well a many other things. Women's actions have liberated men not to be slaves to women's needs.

You are leaving out one important fact. YOU chose this man. He wasn't forced upon you, he wasn't your only choice. YOU chose an asshole to fall in love with, God knows why. There are real and responsible men out there but it seems women only pick the assholes to breed with. Interesting.

The industrial revolution took the father out of the house. Then after WW2 the woman also left the house. Wouldn't you expect a lot of problems with children growing up in households void of one or both parents? We have a lot of children now growing up with an angry mother who has to work and exposes their children to angry views of male behavior. How successful do you think a woman is going to be in a relationship with a man where she did not see a healthy relationship growing up? Maybe dad spoiled the daughter when he got to visit, etc and the daughter comes to expect to be spoiled by men. Maybe mom is angry and an unreasonable parent to the boy, the boy might be forced to grow up to please the mother. How does this turn out?

Lots of divorced parents take their anger out on their kids in various ways to destroy the idea that one parent loves the kid more than the other and so on. You can't really believe a lot of these kids will grow up and get into healthy relationships without some kind of help.

We grow up in a world where healthy interpersonal relationships are not taught. There is no requirement for counseling before marriage or pregnancy. We all do whatever we believe at the time. Many of us refuse to take the blame for our own behavior (male or female) and fuel an environment where children may view themselves as serious costly mistakes.

We can't blame women for everything and can't blame men for everything. Love is accepting someone as they are, not as we can manipulate or get.

stop watching tv and start reading there Bible, praying together, living a Godly life and love comes back, life is more profound and interesting…
