Looking at one of the close up detail high resolution images of one of the paintings, I must say that I don't think it is made with photoshop. If you examine the details you can clearly see the paint and inc and the structure of the canvas. Here is a link to an example:

What could this all mean? Just some stupid artist trying to get traffic? Or is this artist really trying to point out something?
