The law, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Sin requires a sacrifice. He's not being mean. Its just what it is. Would he have sent His Son to die for us if He didn't have too? Its the law of thermodynamics really. A law that made this all possible.

Think about it. Laws are written in stone. If they are not followed it messes things up for the worse. Traffic laws?? If not enforced think of what a mess and harm it would be on the highways. The much, much bigger picture of life is no different.hf

Just you...tales of a God having his followers kill tens of thousands of others who exercised free will doesn't speak well of a "Great God" or man doing his bidding...other than that is a fairly boring book of one author after another repeating the same tale or twisting natural events to causal factors from a God. All cultures have looked for some God(s) or spirits in charge of what we are not...very human.
