He was having a lot of health issues (this was during his tour with the Clash) but he was the nicest, most interesting gentleman. His blood sugar was giving him fits, but he had plenty of time to sign autographs and tell jokes. The Clash (the members that are still alive) should be ashamed of the way they treated Bo on that tour.
