Michael Hossack, Drummer of the Doobie Brothers. We were good friends in Los Gatos and frequent the Bodega at the Prune Yard. Late 70's - early 80's. Many years, then his career picked back up when the Doobie's re-formed. God bless you Mike, rest in peace.

I didn't really "hang" with him, but did sit in on a James Brown rehearsal, and had met him a few years previously. He was cooler in person than the media image portrayal.

I hit the bars and partied in Brenham, TX with Doug Supernaw a few times.

Huey Lewis use to play at the Bodega, early 80's. Knew him well also. Always played on Thursday's, Ladies night. Partied with him many times. But not a close friend like Mike was.

At their house in Saratoga, Ca. in the early 60's, Steven Spielberg was about 15 or 16. He was pretty much to himself. His sister, Ann, was my friend then. She's my friend on Facebook now.

Yea, those were good days, and yes there were many girls. Before I got married. Some of the other bands that use to play there were, Greg Kin, Lydia Pence, Winter brothers, Joe Cocker. The time of my life.

I wouldn't call him famous but skyler crum, I think is how you spell it, from the band He Is Legend. For like half hour before they played a show he sat at the table with a few friends and I and chatted. He is a cool mother fucker.
