Looks like he fishtailed trying to avoid the kid that was directly in the center of his path. Those cars don't like sharp turns.

It's possible he thought he would try to spray the kid with dirt.

If he is innocent, why is he then parking faaaaaaar away after the accident and not stops immediately and try to help the kid? Looks like a nervous coward stress mind

I've watched the video a few times now, looking for some type of evidence that he hit the kid intentionally, and all I'm able to see is the stupidity of the kid standing there in the middle of the track.

They both lost....guilty or not....Stewart's career is over. RIP young Kevin.

Stewert passes him on the prior lap and the kid was forced outside which caused him to crash, but when the kid jumps out into the middle of the track regardless of yellow or not, that was just stupid.

After seeing the video, I would say Stewert gassed it to try to get around the kid as close as it was, he was trying to avoid hitting him in a total front collision as those dirt track Sprint cars don't use the steering wheel to turn as much as the torque of the rear tires. The back end coming out was just the after effect, I wouldn't be surprised if the front end of his car actually hit him first but with the public video you can't tell.

Tragic accident, you don't confront another driver in the middle of the racetrack, it's a shame the boy didn't know better.

Stewart might be a hot head but the last thing he intended was to run the other driver over, it even more stupid the arm chair NASCAR internet officials posting crap about how he's a murderer and all the BS.

Exactly Tony was not the only one trying to avoid him it's in the video. However many said it was on the curve where it happened and he was having to try and move over and the back end slid towards ward which then makes it Wards fault for being there. He could have gotten many folks killed or hurt just going out there.

Nascar should have been already banding the morans who don't have the brians to stay if their cars after a carsh on the track.

I've seen it numerous times when the so called miffed driver gets out and throws their cranial protection at other cars after a wreck.

TV stations have used that in their promotions.

That all said, Stewart is innocent until proven guilty. Who knows if he seen him or not. Only himself at this point.
