I think Mickey D's is disgusting and it makes you feel weird even if you eat something small like their fries. My throat fills up with mucus after I eat Mickey D's.

You should be celebrating McDonald's. Sure, it's not as healthy as freshly picked arugula salad, but it is really no worse than any other standard meat and potatoes restaurant meal. That pizza you are scarfing down as you surf GLP post-bong - almost certainly worse for you than a Micky D's burger and fries.

And even if the health of Value meal does not meet your rigorous standards, you can be assured that wherever you are and whatever time it is, you will be receiving the same standard you expect. That's worth a lot. For all the food poisoning that happens in restaurants, very little of it comes from fast food. The process is too defined and rigorous.

Finally, it's both fast and cheap. In today's economy, where families are stressed, rushed, exhausted, and broke, there isn't always time to forage for dandelion greens, stop by the green market for line-caught rainbow trout, and then get it all home and promptly and properly prepared. Sometimes you need to be able to get a quick, inexpensive bag of calories that you can toss at the kids.



My main problem with McDonald's is that their burgers just aren't all that tasty anymore. The competition is coming up with better tasting if even less healthy fare. Ronald D. ranks last in taste these days.

Gave up McD's about 4 months ago. Seeing all those pictures of what the food was before it took shape got to me. Especially the pile of pink ice cream that was the "McNuggets".

If I wake up early enough (I usually work nights and sleep during daylight), I might go for the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit with $1 coffee. YUM!

A little over a year ago they changed the recipe for their fries...so unless we're traveling we hardly go there anymore.

They're fries use to be so wicked excellent now they're tasteless.

Yeah but I'm sure as they get bigger and bigger, like every other company, they will find easier and cheaper ways to make food. I hope they don't, but they always do. I wish I had one by my house. They do have the healthiest fast food... Good items for people who want to stay on shape. I don't always have time to cook.

Yeah! As a person who once could afford the Whole Foods recipes but now has to resort to college faire due to local economic conditions, I appreciate that I can get a filling meal that doesn't give me indigestion for a couple of bucks. And yes, I have worked in food service and 2I have owned a restaurant and I know that fast food chains often have a higher standard of cleanliness than the local mom and pop places.

Take a big mac.. How much do they charge for it alone now - and it's not a real burger.

I'd rather eat at A&W for a real burger.

If I want trimmed down miniburgers I just go order from Wendy's value meal.

Because I'm road travelling for days I'll often go into a McDonalds for their wifi and order something it's the only thing..

People would eat there more if they had big cheap portions.. The corporates completely missed it - the people that eat there want a zillion fattening calories.. as cheap as possible.

For example in canada they have a poutine shop forget what it's called.. but you can get a regular poutine for $6. It's packed and as busy as a mcdonalds.. why? Because I can order a 3000 calorie feel good meal for $6. eat it feel full and stuffed and go merrily on my way..

Then we can all go back to eating gmo free celery and bragging about how healthy we are,,
