I remember around Christmas last year an older black man came in to pick up his grandsons at the school where I work. Really nice gentleman who served in the military during Vietnam and does a lot of volunteer work with retired and disabled vets. Anyways he was telling me his grandsons wanted to join the army. He was trying to convince the to start community college instead as he said "We're going to be at war with Russia before the end of next year".
It actually spooked me a bit as he is very reserved type and the comment just came out of nowhere.

The only positive thing about a war is that the victor usually sees their economy boom after it is over. This has happened after WWI, WWII, The Korean War, and to some extent after Viet Nam as well. The more the country supports the nation in the battle, the greater the economic payoff after it ends.

Of course with nuclear weapons, scalar weapons and neutron bombs today - who knows if anyone will be victorious or if the so-called victor will want to go on living on a planet that is largely ruined.

I have a theory that the last 10 to 15 years of war has been to grow the American Public so accustomed to war

that they think war with Russia will be no big deal.



Most Americans are tired of war, but also dont seem interested enough to stop it,

it will move quick, and fast, and i think protests wont stop it.
