Smaller helis, without armaments, but flying low. Two in formation headed east over the mountains, then another flying south over the lake. Quoting: Hardwired No airshows mentioned in the local paper for the weekend. And we don't have any significant fires burning in the panhandle. They sure are noisy buggers at that low altitude. See if I can dig something up... They just passed through Polson, Montana, those same ones, I didnt get a chance to recognize, not Marine birds anyway... |

I did a bit of digging to see what they were and came up with this. [link to www.thenewstribune.com] Looks like the Washington Air National Guard (WANG) is playing with their new toys. Apparently they are not limited to Washington state as their playpen! |

I have seen several fighter jets and heard the helicopters almost nonstop. Today has been a little quieter that earlier in the week. We do have bases here and maybe they are having drills? Quoting: HollyWho The new WANG helis are based at Fairchild. They have a range of over 400 miles, which would make a flight to Malmstrom possible. |

While the rest of the country is being destroyed, Idaho is doing fairly well and has wonderful values and principles. Idaho is a beautiful state with so many activities to do. Anyone who says Idaho sucks is either a liberal or hasn't been to our great state. |

It's still 1959 up here. The only drawback? Idaho is (for now anyway) still part of the rotted Amurkin Empire. |

I just moved back to Idaho after living in Ohio for a few years, Ohio is a horrible state, and moving back to Idaho was like stepping back in time, I have told everybody that is how it feels. Grew up in Idaho and finally was able to escape the hellhole that is Ohio and come back home. You are also correct about it being part of the rotted Amurkin Empire, but on the other hand I have met a few individuals who are waking up and becoming informed. The people here are also less sheeplike in a sense and fight corruption and don't put up with it, completely different than other parts of the country. I have been to many other states, and Idaho is still my favorite. |
