Perhaps that's a good indication that you still have emotional energy tied to that experience that you've been harboring and need to release? As daunting and uncomfortable as it may seem - what would happen if you just allowed yourself to cry and let it all out of your system so to speak? You probably just need to go through with that. Writing about things is also a good way to let out your emotions as well, so it's a positive thing that you're re-telling this experience in detail (which enables you to almost re-live it in your mind).



If it wasn't your imagination - children at that age can be more spiritually/psychically sensitive. The veil is thin for them. If you did see a spirit maybe it was that of someone who previously lived in that residence. Perhaps the image was creepy/unsettling but I would imagine most of the fear you experienced was rooted in the very act of seeing something that appeared paranormal - not just the content itself. I mean even if you had seen a spirit/apparition with a seemingly benevolent appearance - that have been quite startling/unsettling as well - you know?



That sensation is commonly reported by individuals who experience OBE's - which happen to be linked to and associated with sleep paralysis episodes...





I think a lot of kids growing up had inadvertently witnessed something like that they wished they could erase from their memory, lol...
