Went to the mall today to have a good laugh at the extreme high prices.

I am going to post a youtube video of the prices and laugh at each item loudly so everyone can hear me in the store laughing picking up each item. That would be a funny video.

My grandmother (who lived through the depression) always gave socks for birthdays, Christmas, etc.
She also had quite the garden and canning setup, and heated with wood.

I buy $1.00 cologne at the dollar store, smells just fine to me. Sometimes I buy $4.00 Axe, but that is far as I will go.

I use Hoppe's #9 gun solvent. A little more expensive but still economical.

Everyone take a youtube video picking up each item and laughing loudly at the price of each item so everyone can hear you. After laughing loudly at 10 items, go to the checkout and after everything is rung up, laugh loudly and show them your empty wallet saying "I cannot afford that!" and post it on youtube. For crap that comes from china, that doesn't last a season, those prices are very high.

Disclaimer, don't shop at walmart but have read comments on various shopping and mom blogs to this effect.

It's coming out now that different zip codes get different prices just like different targets charge different prices. Found this out when I was looking for something. I bought one at one target and went to another target to get a second one. The second target had the same item ten dollars less.
Immediately went to customer service to get my adjustment on the first item purchased at the other target. They told me they couldn't do it as different targets can charge different prices and then said "the closer you get to the city the more expensive things get".

Eventually, the stuff at the mall will end up on the sale rack at 30% off and be affordable, the wallmart stuff I'm told will sell out at those high prices and never get to the sale rack.

I wonder what the actual COST of those items are?
