#BREAKING: Jury finds LA Dodgers liable for civil damages in stadium beating of baseball fan Brian Stow, but former team owner cleared



LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — After nine days of deliberations, jurors in the Bryan Stow beating trial announced Wednesday afternoon that negligence of the Dodgers organization caused “substantial harm” to Stow.

The panel found former Dodgers owner Frank McCourt was not negligent in the handling of security at Dodger Stadium the night Giants fan Stow was beaten into a coma in a parking lot in 2011, according to the verdict read in court.
