What Army rank wears the scrambled eggs on the visor?
I always thought the Army rank of Colonel and above wore the scrambled eggs on the visor, but the web says it is a rank of Major .

Here's a screen shot of an old TV show that has a Major with a plain visor, which I assume is incorrect?

Major ( field grade) and above in Army are authorized for SE. Other services are authorized for higher different grades. If you are a civvy, you can wear what you want.

The picture is an airforce officer which I believe requires LTCol to wear darts and farts.

An identifier that all services understand is O-6 (bird in the Army).
