Mods - why can't I upload a custom smilie?

Oh dear...

All smilies have to wait for approval

Sometimes it's done quickly, other times it takes a while.

How long ago did you upload it?

Last week . . I tried again today.

When you upload them, does it show "x smilies pending approval" on the left hand side of the screen when you refresh the smilie section?

Did you pick the right file type. I've been here ten years and even now the protocols involved can sometimes drive you up the wall.

Yes - don't think it is malware - got scanners for that. Just checked everything out - all seems fine. Just now have rebooted everything - including router. Trying again to upload it now. Let's see if that works -

If not, this "smilie tard" (um, ya - red karma for that, lol) will give it a rest . . .
