Anonymous Coward User ID: 59600490 Sweden 06/24/2014 12:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The past 2 months I have been having the same reoccurring dream where I am walking through my city that has been totally wrecked. I dont know how it became wrecked, but it's just decimated. Quoting: Biohazardous In these dreams, I am walking down the same main road, buldings are either halfway collapsed or totally collapsed and burning, vehicles and burned and blackened and trees have been either on fire, burned down or are bare. I am looking for my wife and kids, but I am not panicked, just calmly walking down the street looking at everything, sort of just taking it all in. I dont see any other people at all, but I hear faint voices, some adult, some children, but they aren't my wife and kids and I cannot tell what they are saying. The only thing I can understand is that the voices sound injured but I dont know where they are. It's uaually around dusk in my dream, lots of smoke and a weird smell in the air but it's not from the burning debris, it's more like the smell of electricity. The only living thing I ever see are dogs wondering the street, some being injured and yelping, some just running around rampant, but they dont look like they are suffering from starvation and they never bother me. It's like I am not even there. And there is always a single solitary $1 bill tumbling down the street, but I never really pay too much attention to it. The dreams always end with me climbing to the top of a hill, one of the few taller buildings left standing or an electrical tower high enough that I can see for miles and all I can see is smoke billowing up from the ground and fires, no activity whatsoever. But there is an olive green train thats always running through the city at that exact moment, not with cattle cars or anything, just regular box cars and it has white stenciled lettering on it, but I can never make out what it says. Just as the train is out of sight, it blows it's horn and it's gone. Then I wake up. It's driving me nuts and it's freaking me out to keep having this dream and little variations of it. I wish I could explain it better and I am sure there are parts I don't remember, but I know it's an evil feeling in the dream. Dream tard |
