Earthquake OKC OK just NOW -- Updated 4.3 Magnitude NE of OKC

The 2.7 was near Edmond, and at 0530 local time.

The one I felt was about 0552 and is not showing up on USGS yet.

It could have been mild, but near. I am SE of OKC, near Moore and Draper Lake.

In fact I was sitting right here at 0530 when the 2.7 hit near Edmond and did not feel a thing.

The one I felt at about 0552 was either a lot closer or a lot stronger for me to feel it.

Just went Boom! Rattle! Rattle!

But our EQs are very shallow and they ring like a bell.

Lots of EQ "action" for relatively small magnitude.

Still nothing on csem. That link shows a quake. Not the 2.7.looked very short, can almost tell it's fracking related? Doesn't have any sort of discernable p wave

No idea what I am looking at on that, but do know that I felt a quake SE of OKC.

We have been getting a lot of them.

Am waiting to see this one to show up on USGS to see what magnitude and where it was.

So... what exactly is that graph you posted???

Yes it is indeed in Georgia but as you can see it is VERY sensitive it's picked up activity from other continents.

The foundations are starting to crumble.

Yes I bought EQ insurance about 5 or 6 years ago when we started getting small swarms, fortunately before the M4 and 5+ quakes started.

I always post here when I can whenever we feel a quake simply because it could be a small one nearby, or a much larger one farther away.

Currently OK has been designated by USGS for an EQ "Warning", which is a pretty extreme sort of step.

Very close to the same time as the ones a day ago too!!

OK Geo Survey downgraded it to a 4.1
