Against the psychopaths who have turned this country; this world upside down. I don't pray for our corrupt "leaders"; I condemn them. Quoting: Elsabiades.. Condemnation is useless without their cooperation to ask for forgiveness. I see the sadness behind the smile. |

We are to call on God alone. Not on angels. Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. |

Amen, we sorted that out on the other thread, all agree that God sends angels, and we ask for His will, not ours. Anonymous Coward User ID: 41195802 Canada 06/15/2014 09:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I absolutely agree with the OP. I pray many of you out there please take the time to read Psalm 94. Read it slowly, prayerfully and think on it each day. Ask for forgiveness as each one of us can get caught up in the world and it's ways. I'm guilty myself, I'll post the psalm so you don't need to search it yourself. Thanks for reading and God bless you all. << < = = > >> Show resourcesAdd parallel Psalm 94 New International Version (NIV) Psalm 94 1 The Lord is a God who avenges. O God who avenges, shine forth. 2 Rise up, Judge of the earth; pay back to the proud what they deserve. 3 How long, Lord, will the wicked, how long will the wicked be jubilant? 4 They pour out arrogant words; all the evildoers are full of boasting. 5 They crush your people, Lord; they oppress your inheritance. 6 They slay the widow and the foreigner; they murder the fatherless. 7 They say, “The Lord does not see; the God of Jacob takes no notice.” 8 Take notice, you senseless ones among the people; you fools, when will you become wise? 9 Does he who fashioned the ear not hear? Does he who formed the eye not see? 10 Does he who disciplines nations not punish? Does he who teaches mankind lack knowledge? 11 The Lord knows all human plans; he knows that they are futile. 12 Blessed is the one you discipline, Lord, the one you teach from your law; 13 you grant them relief from days of trouble, till a pit is dug for the wicked. 14 For the Lord will not reject his people; he will never forsake his inheritance. 15 Judgment will again be founded on righteousness, and all the upright in heart will follow it. 16 Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will take a stand for me against evildoers? 17 Unless the Lord had given me help, I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death. 18 When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. 19 When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy. 20 Can a corrupt throne be allied with you— a throne that brings on misery by its decrees? 21 The wicked band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death. 22 But the Lord has become my fortress, and my God the rock in whom I take refuge. 23 He will repay them for their sins and destroy them for their wickedness; the Lord our God will destroy them. |

God did grant me time to see the errors of my ways. our leaders - what a joke. But praying for their condemnation is not my first choice. I pray that the good of all good people will prevail. That those who seek evil for the rest of us be thwarted. and that our leaders turn from their evil ways. Liberalism is totalitarianism with a human face – Thomas Sowell |

The longer you wait, the more you hurt yourself. You people are priceless. Stop being sorry for shit you shouldn't be sorry for, you were not born flawed - you were born awesome. Stop giving credit to a deity for all of the incredibleness you have within yourselves. Stop asking a fake sky daddy to handle problems you can handle yourselves. Time wasted in prayer and repentance for non-existent sins could be better used bringing about the change you claim to want. I recognize human beings as being incredibly capable - they don't need magic to get the job done - they need to stop waiting for magic to handle shit they could be handling themselves. Much love. |
