If God didn't want us to use animals for our benefit, then why did he make them?

I witnessed a 9 month old calf do the same thing and it broke its legs as it hit the pavement. I along with others helped to lift it off the road and was promptly rewarded with a back that went out for a week. It had not been tied in to the truck. Pigs and cows are generally never transported in their entire lives. They are not dashing for freedom, they are nervous in the vehicle and want out of what they have never experienced before. Any horse owner will tell you, the horse must get used to riding in the trailer and some never take to be transported.

Lets hope he got a reprieve from the slaughterhouse, he should after that. Sometimes I feel really guilty about being a meat eater.
