Well, there's a lot of good material out there that wouldn't be if not for the new paradigm made available through technology and self-publishing. The gatekeepers of the big literary houses have time and again not been able to identify what it is that people want and like.

The list of these authors who have brought so much entertainment and/or meaning to so many people is amazingly long. Grisham, King, Wild Honey...

I spent it happily on a book that I wanted to own. I have lots of books and I will probably buy more. My point is that people write and make money on the ideas they write about - even the church makes a killing off of the words and ideas written down by men and women of faith who didn't get royalty one. I just don't understand why you are dissing honey for writing a book. If people chose to buy it then that is their choice, just like my choice to buy a Bible.

You say you bought a bible, then I am sure you have read that all the books in the world can't contain what Jesus has done. That means a lot of his works aren't found in books.

So it's ok for you to accept something I diss but it's not ok for me to diss something you promote? Sounds a little hypocritical, perhaps you should try studying your bible a little more closely.

I don't really understand why you are upset with honey, to be honest. I was just sharing her joy at self-publishing her first work. Seemed harmless, but I guess everything is complicated.

You don't understand because I never said I was. Regardless, my feelings aren't yours to understand. I gave her green karma and she accused me of making a mistake instead of giving her red, why she thought that IDK, I asked her but I didn't see a reply. She falsely accused me of something that she thought, I'm not going to get all upset over it or defend or go against something I don't understand. She's just a little confused is all.

Anyway, do you know what the word bible means? It means library of books. Last time I checked books contained in libraries are all free to borrow, not buy.

And yes, I love going to the library, but I bought the Bible to have the books on hand for personal reference.

now I simply couldnt be bothered..stops the flow for me

Ive given away copies for free too..and several book shops have accepted my book up for sale ..so Im quite thrilled

its not about money..its simply to communicate with the hope its liked and can help

Im going to see if its ok with the publishing company for me toput it up on amazon myself and on e bay

People will say something negative/critical but give green karma while doing so because it cannot be erased/deleted, whereas red karma can...
