sorry if I'm being silly, but historically, "ring around the rosey" was the mark of the bubonic plague, and people carried fragrant flowers (posies) in their pockets because they were believed to ward off the miasma (bad smell) of the disease. But it didn't help and they "all fall down" dead anyway. Some towns were depopulated.

They erased Manuel Noriega from that history book as though he was never the acting dictator in Panama and I brought this fact to the attention of a particular individual who rolled her eyes back as though I was an idiot and I knew they trying to create a division between her and I, so took her to google and typed in the name Manuel Noriega and the years when he was the dictator...

She was awe struck and wrote her paper based on the information she gleane4d from the cloud and came to me angry because she got an A+ so she told she was going to ask the teacher what was up with this so called history book...

The following day she came to me lividly pissed due to what the teacher told her in reply to her question...

The teacher told her that it's not their job to teach them the truth but it's their/the students job to figure out if they are being told the truth but the problem with that train of thought is they never told the students up front that the information in that new history book might be the truth or it might not be the truth...
