Moscow banning the use of Russian made rocket engines for US military and will shut down GPS sites

Our (Germanys) wealth is not the main problem. The main problem is transportation. We in Germany simply had not the facilities to counter a cutoff of Russion gas (for example).
Just simply no storage capacity. And you can not always substitute gas with oil.

Also there are other (EU) countries with not enough wealth.

Russia is going to suspend the operation of all American GPS sites on its territory, starting from June 1, said Russia’s deputy PM, Dmitry Rogozin, who is in charge of space and defense industries.

"Starting June 1, we will halt the work of those stations on Russian territory,” Rogozin said.

Rogozin pointed out that American GPS ground stations are located in Russia under an agreement that dates back to 1993 and 2001.

“Under this agreement there are 11 GPS stations on the territories of 10 [Russian federal] subjects,” he said.

The banning of Russian rockets will be painful for some tech companies in the short term wanting to put satellites in orbit...but there will be private corporations to step up to the plate and that might be a good thing. It could open up some manufacturing and jobs. The question will be...where will these private corporations set up shop?

If this is not some game being played out by the elite globalists...I am sure more shit will hit the fan.

I shudder at the stupidity of a few people in other countries which think a Russia - USA conflict would not affect them. In truth, if something goes down, even the southern hemisphere would be affected quite tragically. One country might win the war, but there will be no winners amongst the people of the planet.

The GPS thing may actually be more important than people realize.


It is because of the various ground stations around the world feeding data into the GPS system that MILITARY accuracy for the GPS system can be measured by fractions of an inch whereas civilian accuracy, withOUT ground based radio correction, is about 10 meteres (when they turn ON the distortion for the civilian channels it is a much rougher calculation of location, generally 100 meters, but they can distort it even further).

Why is it important to have an accuracy of a fraction of an inch versus 10 meters?

In the war against Sadam we were putting some of our high tech missiles DOWN VENTILATION DUCTS ... which required an accuracy of no more than a couple of inches, which a 10 meter accuracy would NOT do.

For general navigation 10 meters if fine. For aircraft in landing mode the local ground based correction system in that specific urban area will get the accuracy down also to a fraction of an inch.

For our High Tech smart weapons operating over non friendly areas were we do NOT have a ground based correction radio transmitter and the weapons are relying strictly upon the GPS signal, 10 meters is CRAP for positioning them. The targeting of those "smart precision" weapons would be like WW2 bombers getting mixed up and bombing the next city over from the one they were supposed to bomb. No ventilation shaft precision in that case.
